Looking at the stats today, almost a day later, they look like the following : Ere

Pantheon also needs to be extended in points I think. 1000000 just doesn't feel like enough, would rather see it at 10000000, so there is a good duration for it.
According to these numbers, one should encounter a QoT in almost every 2nd 6-player game (to be exact, the probability is 43.5%).
How are you calculating this? Your question is a little flawed IMO. Those stats show, that demigods make 61006 total appearances in game. Of those 61006 appearances, only 4285 are from QoT, a lot less than 10%. How did you work out that you should see a QoT 43.5% of the time? <
Is it only in questions regarding bugreports and technical support that I am supposed to use the Atari forums?
Officially, I believe you are supposed to use the Atari forums if you bought the game from an EU retail store. If you purchased it digital download and live in the EU, then you can use Stardocks forums no problem. I get the feeling that if you are not trolling, then Stardock will allow you to use the forums here. Despite some of the rants
I can't tell if you're arguing for or against my point. However, Lithuania and Argentina and the Dream Team all had roughly the same amount of training together. We're talking about individual skill vs team communication, and it's apparent that team communication is more important when it's a TEAM game.
I am for your point, it was the example that 12 players on paper, who are individually amazing play poorly as a team in a team game (of course they have l
Yes, he can get in there... but reg can still leave pretty easily. And warpstone and cloak of the night have their own serious disadvantages (isn't cloak of the night general only?) Not only that, but triple stacking slows only takes a small amount of cash, but a warpstone costs a lot.
Yeah, they are pretty bad expensive solutions, but could be used. I think with Erebus though, he gets in with swarm, hits bite and then Reg is in a lot of troubl
no DG in the game can get in range because there is no maximum for slowing DGs down
Not true, Erebus has bat swarm, gets him in nice and close. Erebus is the ultimate regulus counter IMO. You can also pick up warpstone or take cloak of night to warp in on him. Although they are pretty expensive solutions.
Sorry Stardock guys it had to come to this. I remember the thread with Frogboy talking about it..... I respect Stardocks policy that people should really moderate themselves. It is a shame that the reality with this type of game is that they can't.
You pick an average NBA team, then go and pick a random 12 people from the rest of the NBA and put them together, I'm pretty confident the team that's trained and played with each other will have the advantage,
Check out the 2004 Olympic games. Full of NBA players, lost to teams like Lithuania and Argentina. The first time a team full of professional players loses to amateurs!
I also pointed out 2 out of THREE of his reasons were becuase of premades.
Actually one reason was that PUG is at a disadvantage to a premade, which is pretty much 100% provable fact. In the OPs argument this means that a lot of good players who don't have pre-mades will have lower ranking. The second reason was that players playing Pre-made vs Pre-made will lose more. This means that a lot of good players who play in premades can also have a lowe
LOL @ Wickedbear for completely unnecessary flaming and completely missing the point. Shame you cannot add a numbskull point to peoples records. The guy is just saying that stats are useless and they are useless. Nothing to do with the OPs skills, he is not crying about his stats, he simply finds it funny that people get so mad about them.
LoL, boring day at work? Nice number crunching. still would say the best player wins. How do you factor in Boulder Roll, Hammer Slam or Foul Grasp interrupt? :)
They most probably should remove mine damage doing damage to buildings. However, if you are letting Reg control the whole lane on his own and plug away at your towers, then that is bad play on your side. Also not to theorycraft too much, at level 6 Reg only has level 2 mines, which are not enough to cause major hurt and would take ~25 secs to lay down all 6, plus then another ~45 secs to take down the tower. What are you doing in that time? <
I think overall the next couple of months will tell. The current crucial features that Stardock need to concentrate on is the competitive play and matchmaking. It will not hold a core crowd, until the matchmaking is rock steady and people actually can see the progress they are making in getting better at this game. I am not sure the game will have the longetivity of a MMORPG, however, it will not not keep a core crowd until clan support, matchmaking based on ran
One good reason why I always kill the opponents priests first. Costs them some mana to respawn and a bit of cast time too.
When i see some videogame where the devs say "this is not balanced 1v1 is balanced on groups" i just can think "this game is made of fail" if u have a class better that the others u can do a team made of this class or mostly this class and own most games just by this.
Lets make a simple example. 4 classes, W, X, Y and Z. W is better than X and Y. Z is better than W. X and Y are equal but better than Z. <
I would recommend going minion build with Oak, with shield to back your Reg up, in case he gets caught out. Reg definately needs to go mines, these put a huge dent in health. Against good players though, they are easily countered. Reg should be at the back, however, the problem is that he will have no real chance. I know as an Erebus player that I will simply bat swarm into the Reg and start wailing on him. The best tactic for Oak and Reg is probably to
You go play any team game and guess what? It's the team that matters.
Not true. Most FPS games are team games, however, you can still enjoy yourself on the losing side if you are good. Bad Teammates might make it more difficult, but one persons skill can make up for it. Also, part of the enjoyment of games like CounterStrike is maintaining a good K/D ratio, you can still lose, but if you are top of the losing side then it is still cool.
I definately second the Pantheon route. I spent the weekend playing Pantheon after a frustrating time in Custom. Pantheon is a lot more fun, there are varied objectives and most important no pre-made groups. I am too anti-social to join clans or make large friendship groups hanging around in chat anymore :p I just have time usually to play one or two games. Pantheon is actually pretty good for it. I think that Pantheon reall
An Erebus swarm on crucible though takes a while to get to, it is a very expensive build. It is fine saying that Sedna will be no match for it. However, early game Erebus in minion build is weak, I play both characters a lot and I would say that Sedna is a lot stronger than Erebus for at least the first five levels, then possibly up to 10 it breaks even. In terms of the OP point, I would agree, that Sedna is possibly the strongest 1v1, especially
If you teleport they still come with you though? That is really annoying, would be great if there was a switch for that.
As I prefer Ooze build I have no problems with Sedna. I love playing as Sedna and having UBs spit on me. Spit does nothing to Sedna. Whereas Ooze is basically a counter to her healing. The key is to watch for her heal, the tigers paws come together and she starts to bend down. Now have your Foul Grasp ready, as soon as you see the movement hit it and the heal is wasted. You should be able to then finish her off before the next heal refreshes.
Counter healing is a great situational skill and can make a huge difference when facing minion builds and creep priests. I use it a lot. Good to remember if your opponent Sedna has it too, just look for the little black shadow under your priests when they go to heal.
I won't be back until Monday but I already have the clever reply prepared...
Quick, please Stardock, delete the thread :p
When you fight yourself Oak vs Sedna, who wins?
I find it pretty difficult to fight myself, however, I would maintain that the better player wins. This game is pretty well balanced as it is, some DGs are harder to play than others. In relation to the topic, I think a minion c
