I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there seems to be an error. When I go to extract the rar into my mod folder it won't fully extract because it says "data error in 'SOA2 0.4.2.E\TEXTURES\Romulan_V7Whitewind-cl.dds' file is broken" I skipped that file and checked that's the only one that's bad. Everything else extracts fine.

^That generally effects fighters being spawned far outside grav wells. Ships that fly way out of the grav well on thier own is generally caused by fighter movement. Ships using fighter movement want to create a set distance between them and thier enemy before they'll turn around to attack. When a ship is being chased it can't create the needed distance to attack so it just keeps flying straight forever. However, with this issue that doesn't seem to be the case. The grav well r

In the empire tree you can hover your mouse over the dots representing your fleets at different planets. It pops up a list of what ships you are in that gravity well and thier numbers. You can do the same thing with your enemy's fleets. You can also zoom out until you see the planet icon with the bars on either side representing the ships. Hover your mouse over those bars to see the ships and thier numbers.

In SINS, if you're fired at, you're hit. Not entirely. There's coding so there can be misses.[/quote] I'd love for you to tell me how. For a while I've wanted powerful weapons that are very innaccurate, but all the accuracy modifier in sins does is apply a blanket +/-% damage to all weapons fire.<
Also, if a ship's shield mitigation goes above 100% enemy ships simply stop firing at it.

This isn't Ubisoft. Internet will only be required to play multiplayer over Stardock's servers and to update the game. If you want to play single player or LAN you won't need to be connected to the internet. EDIT: You CAN update your game if you don't have the internet on the same PC as you do the game, but can use the internet somewhere else, it's just a little more complicated then just opening Impulse and clicking update. I've never actually done it, so I'm not too sure on the deta
You can't transfer saves between Vanilla, Entrenchment, or Diplomacy. Also, to see what version of the game you have just look at the bottom right hand corner of your screen on the main menu page.
3b will happen. You won't be able to play your vanilla save in Entrenchment or Diplomacy. Also note that if you patch your game it will likely invalidate your saved game.
You probably don't have 'Show Beta' checked in your preferences.
Great update guys. You know it's good when you start playing at 11pm and don't look back at the clock until 2am. However, I did notice that some icons didn't seem to show up when zoomed out. I remember the Dominion Cap Ship(Laviathan?) and Starbase in particular didn't switch to icons zoomed out, but there might have been others. Is that a known issue?
Now, CanadaMan, you know if you keep updating like this people are going to start having expectations. [e digicons];P[/e] Though I do have to say I don't like the nose point at the front of the Needler ship. Since Covenant ships are generally rounded it doesn't seem to fit with thier style. If the nose was removed I think it'd fit in fine.
Agreed with Wintersong because you're impression is incorrect.
