Testing version 3 on xp now. The contrast in the skin is much better now; I've not seen anything that is absolutely unreadable. Some parts still much too dark IMO, though. The gripper pattern on the scrollbar dragbar (sorry--don't know the technical term) has some magic pink showing through. Don't know why, but the start menu animation doesn't show up on my xp machine. It does on Vista, though. More opinion: Not too crazy about the little things that pop-up whe
btw how do you like the cubes on the startmenu kinda makes it hard to concentrate on what you are doing haha but the look cool anyway
I wholly agree. Nice job on the animation, but I think it detracts from the skin, IMO.

I tried it on xp last night, and decided to wait until I could see it on Vista, since that's how you built it. Now that I've seen it on Vista, I have to agree about the dark on dark text, particularly in the menus. Also, the light gray text on dark gray background in the navigation bar has a nice contrast, until you mouseover the nav bar--then the nav bar becomes a brighter gray, and the text gets lost. I'll try it again on xp tonight and let you know what I find there.
I see. But that would mean I changed my name, not my homeland. My logic is more . . . cold, I guess. I would say precise, but that would seem to be an insult. PS; I'm from Up-State New York (Capitol District, actually, near Albany), and that region has always been my home.
Just jokin', dude. [e digicons];)[/e]
I thought you were going to say it's because you are a former Italian.

I really don't get that one . . .
Vinnex: Like Vinnie-a popular Italian name; ex meaning "former," (like "ex-girlfriend") So, Vinnie + ex = Vinnex! [e digicons][/e] Sometimes my own logic scares me!
