You can do Nice Icons with MS Paint if you have the talent and Time. But yes I am sure you can do wonderfull stuff in Gimp. I however cant realy help you with that. As I am a Vector man. But if you look around for Photoshop totorails, you should be able to make a translation of most of the tools to Gimp, since they are more simaler in nature then Corel and gimp.

You can also just right click on the video's hyperlink and say Save Target As .
there are alot of ways, I try and just design stuff like that as more then one mesh. But if you want a Hole, you can draw the overal shape. and powerclip the mesh fill inside it. This can come in handy for otherthings. I will tutch on this more as the Icons continue.
Icon 09 (Music CD) Yesterday was quite the day for me, and I ended up spending about 5 hours of my day on this project, between starting the CorelDRAW for skinners videos, and doing the "My Computer"
I have to admit that exporting the bitmap is CorelDRAW's weakest link. I have reported several time a few bugs in the exporter that make it almost useless to skinners, and they have not been fixed. However there are several work around. Here are the ways I have found to get the best results. Overall note: When you design set your general DPI to 300, you can do this in the options dialogue. This is important to the way it makes drop shadows and how it exports and

Icon 08 (My Computer) Today we are going to do one of the more complicated icons, the "My Computer" icon. Because I am trying to keep these relatively simple I have decided to do a simple LCD monitor. I will be using the "Mesh Fill" tool to do 90% of this icon. I have done a video on usin
Icon 07 (Doc File) This morning I got up and was determined to do a really impressive icon, but after walking my dogs in the -5 wind-chill I kind of lost my enthusiasm. Now that it is 9:15pm, I ha

Humm, never thought about that. Maby when the pack is done I can strip the reflecting out.
Teoma, downloaded the file form here. https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=1398&LibID=26 and it seams to work for me, perhaps you got a curputed downlaod, I would try and re-download it. And make sure you have the latest build of Logonstudio. If that dose not work try contacting [email protected].
That link is to the preview of the login, can you get us a link to the real logonstudio file, so we can see if it is a problem with the file.
Not a bad Idea, might be to detailed to pull off in something small thought. I might mull that one over, any other Ideas?
Very nice, keep em coming.
Icon 04 (Open Folder) Today's icon can be one of the hardest, or the easiest icons in the pack. However, in this one case it is going to be quite simple because of the way we did the Closed Folder as "r
