Sorry for the delay on this. We finally have a fix from Paradox on this. Please visit http://www.sonyvfactory.com/galciv2/default.asp to have the correct serial number generated for you. For additional information you can also visit http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=239049
I haven't had a chance to go through all the emails yet but we have already identified a potential problem. It appears that there may be a printing issue for Italian versions that was distributed by Koch Media. We have not confirmed this yet but we have a couple of cases where the last 3 digits of the serial number was not printed. Hopefully tomorrow we will have a more definitive answer and solution. Thank you for your patience.
Anyone who is having a problem registering their serial number please send me an email with detailed information. I will need to know your serial number, email address and exactly how you are trying to register it (via websites, Stardock Central, The game itself, etc) and what the exact error message is that you are receiving. Once I have some of this information I should be able to isolate the issue(s). But also, if you registered your serial number with an email address
Well, this didn't work out so well. We tried upgrading the main site today and something was very unhappy so we had to back level to ASP.Net v1.1 for now. Back to the drawing board.
And I guess I should mention that if you see any new bugs with the personal pages please post them here.
Sorry, this is not a database error. The system is working as designed. Being a current customer does not qualify you to have the ads removed. There might be 1 or 2 ads less than a standard user but for the most part a current customer see's almost all the ads. The only way to get rid of the ads is to be a Subscriber with an active subscription. Level 4: Current Stardock customer. These are users who have either purchased Object Desktop Network or some
We are in the procress of upgrading WinCustomize from ASP .Net v1.1 to ASP .Net v2.0. At this moment we have already updated the Personal Pages to the new version of ASP.Net. However, ASP .Net v2.0 handles cookies differently so the login cookies are not compatible between the main site. So as you navigate from the main site to the personal pages you will find that you need to logon on and off. We hope to complete our upgrade process tomorrow so for the next
Tomalak, ccc2501, Fordson, ardvaark, Grahamofboro...I have tested all your accounts with the serial number and email address you have in our system and everything worked properly. If you are still having problems trying to activate please send an email to me ([email protected]) and include your email address and serial number that you are using to attempt to activate. Also let me know if you are activating via Stardock Central or if you are activating when trying to run the game.
Also, once the error occurs what is the URL in the address bar and what is the exact error message being displayed?
Ok, the problem has been corrected. A bug was introduced when doing an update to our database system. Anyway, to get everyone back on track, in Stardock Central, right click on Galactic Civilizations II and choose the option to "Activation Application (w/logging)". That should activate your serial number and all should be well in the universe. If that menu option does not show up then GCII is already activated and no further action should be required.

FYI, the Metaverse Medals have been temporarily removed from the forums until we fix a performance related issue. Hopefully we will have this fixed up in the next day or two.
Torbe - I tested creating a player with your account and the serial number that we have registered and everything worked properly. Maybe it was a type issue? Jamest65, Tyjenks, Celestial LIght & IIWrath, please visit our registration page ( https://www.galciv2.com/registration.aspx ) and register your serial number first. Then go back to the character creation page. Most likely that will get everything straightened out for you. Telparion - I tested logging in
Hey guys. Yes, as mentioned on another thread, with the release of our new game, Galactic Civilizations II, our servers are being pounded more than normal which is causing a huge headaches for all our sites and not just WinCustomize. However I do apologize for this inconvenience. But, We are doing our best to try and get everything running smooth again. Unfortunately our biggest set back right now is we do not have enough human resources to make everything happen

Brian, Can you send me the same email you sent to support so I can try and look into this issue as well. Please send it to [email protected]
These are some great ideas. Please keep them coming. However, we are limited with we can do. We have a limited set of data that is available. Example of some of the data we have...Score, GalaxySize, Difficulty, Victory/Loss Type, Alignment(morality), Years, Race, Population. Thats basicially it. And hopefully later today or tomorrow I will have some more medals implemented.
We've just added a FanSites link to the Metaverse: http://metaverse.galciv2.com/index.aspx?g=fansites If you have a GalCiv II fan site send an email to me at [email protected] and we will get you up there.
SanderJk, the problem is that Firefox is borked. If you upgrade to the newest version of Firefox that will fix the problem.
Marc, Your accounts have been merged. MervDeMan, I see two accounts that could be yours but I do not have enough similarities between the two to guarantee that they are both yours. Could you please send me some additional info. Ie, Mailing addresss or Order Number should do it.
Another odd quirk I noticed... I've played three games on "Normal" difficulty, yet they're all showing up as "Challenging" difficulty. I'm not that good. Whats happening here is that certain in game conditions will alter the difficulty level (actually the race intelligence) which affects the end result difficulty level. So even though y

Aztiel Wrote: Hello - I'm having trouble sending my game to the metaverse - I'm getting an error message about the serial key so I guess I'm using the wrong one. But now I've gone crazy and somehow I think I've got three different serial keys, and three characters of which I'm not sure which ones have which keys. How do I get these to match, or what do I need
