yer welcome!

Thanks Dave! I was able to track down the problem. It should work now.
Hi Stromprophet, Yes in order to get the beta you need to purchase the game. Click here to purchase it: http://www.galciv.com/purchase.asp
If you are not familar with the registry then probably best not to edit it. Anyway....I think I may have located the source of the problem. Some incorrect data was being returned from the server. I was able to correct the data being returned and it should solve the problem. So give it another try. Let me know if you still get the error or not.
Not sure what the problem is but could you run the drengin.exe file with the /d parameter. This will output debug data into the file debug.err Send me that file and hopefully I can find the problem.
oopps I meant to say 0.66a http://storage.stardock.com/files/dgm_066a.exe
I actually just saw that error myself. It might be related to your registry information. If you try deleting your registry keys (this will cause you to have to reinput your serial number into DGM) this might fix the problem. Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin Network and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Drengin.net And I would suggestion install 0.65a http://storage.stardock.com/files/dgm_065a.exe
Please try reinstalling the DGM. http://storage.stardock.com/files/dgm_066a.exe
The problem has been fixed. Make sure that when you run the Drengin Game Manager that you actually are running loader.exe so that the DGM updates itself.
I'll fix it for ya Koasati!
...but why do ya'll allow wallpapers on your site? Many skins tend to include a wallpaper to complete the look. So to help support that a wallpaper section was born. However the wallpaper section has evolved past our original concept. It no longer is there to just support the skins it has grown into its own entity as the wallpapers that have been submitted are of some of the best on the net.
Ooops. Ok. Removed the stop statement. If you start DGM it should autoupdate and hopefully you will be able to get passed race04.mp now.
Sorry, had to reset the highscores once again. Only scores submitted with the beta will show up now. Also, you will have to link(register) your GalCiv Player name to your GalCiv.com account in order for it so show up. To register your player name click here: http://www.galciv.com/playerreg.asp
The link will be active as soon as the beta is available.
Its so quiet here. Everyone is working so hard to get everything wrapped up for the beta.
I wish I would have checked by build ID of 1.0 before I installed 1.1. I'm wondering if you have a pre 1.0 version of mozilla. As I have tried 1.0, 1.1a and 1.1a+ and all of them appear to work just fine for me.
Hmmm, Paxx knows PHP now. Lets see, your first duties are to start converting parts of WC to PHP. And once that is done then you can officially take over my duties as the janitor. MOOUHHHAAA
Ok, after much arm twisting by Adam (SkinStudio) I was finally forced to look into fixing the underline problems WinCustomize was having with Mozilla. With his help we made some adjustments to our Style Sheets and it appears that we have cleaned up the mess. Take a look around and let me know if you see anything displaying inappropriately with any browser that you may be using (due to the changes I just made).
Ok. I've tracked down the problem and it should be fixed. However.....There also appears to be a bug in the auto update script so you will most likely need to do a full install. You can download the full version here: http://storage.stardock.com/files/dgm_066.exe

/me wonders if everyone that advocates 'forced comments with a rating' if they actually comment every time they give a rating?
Part of the inconsistance may be related to the high cpu usage on the server. But if this method I am using appears to be faster then I can apply the same princible to the Libraries. And hopefully by doing so the CPU usage will go down which should then help with the consistancy.
Better yet. Purchase a subscription to WinCustomize!
I just did some tweaks to the message board in hopes of speeding it up. Just curious if anyone is noticing a difference?
"The phenomenon still goes on today subdued and it is not a system bug, but if you think that it is, ok, let it be." - adni Yes, it is a bug. "Glitch or no glitch, someone still had to rate everyone with a "1". So we still have a midnight rater. " - WiseOldMan Is it wrong to rate a 1 because its so low on the scale? Should we not be suspicious of everyone who rates a 10 then? And again. The problem that you saw was a bug in the system. But yes, occasionally someone d
