I think I need to go home. It seems like every line of code I have written today has had a bug in it. Matter of fact, I'm changing my work schedule, Tuesday through Thursday (Mondays are a pain in the butt so I mine as well skip them too!)
Hmmm, I think the site will run faster if all of Jafo's and DavidK's blabberings were eliminated. That's it, why didn't I think of it before: if user='Jafo' or user='DavidK' then ZapKeyboard else DisplayMessage end if
I don't use zone alarm so I am curious... When you click on a zoom link here does zone alarm block our popup to show you the zoomed imaged?
I like feline's thinking! Yes, at times the site does appear to get slower. We believe that this is in part relative to how many users are on the site. I'm in the process of going through all of WinCustomize's code to look for ways to improve performance. I believe I have found several little things that can be done which will help. And hopefully with all of them combined it will make a
I was in the midst of doing some database maintenence. Sorry for the scare.
Grayhaze, My hat is off to you! Congratulations. And may I say that I am glad that this is over because trying to judge all these great skins ist a pain in the butt because you guys (and girls) are just too darn good. I just wish that there could had been more prizes to give out because there were so many great skins that I wanted to see them all win something. Even if you didn't win anything there is nothing to be ashamed about because all the skins were just fantastic! Great Job to e
Instead of seeing there advertisement everyweek with their weekly update I would prefer to see a list of items that has been updated. If its just bug fixes then I am not sure if weekly news items should be continued to be allowed.
Frogboy is being a tease. He wont tell us who won the Best Overall Skin!
Congrats to Alexandrie, Hippy and Sandra!
Ok, after way to much time we finally have an updated build of the Drengin Game Manager. This build mainly focused on some outstanding firewall issues and crashes. Its recommended that you download the full version as it contains an update to DirectSkin which at this time does not get updated through the automated process. Full Build: http://www.stardock.com/temp/dgm_065.exe Updates: ------------------------------------------- ver 0.65.063 date 3-26-2002 - Remo
Happy Birthday Alexandrie and many more!
Two separate programs, two separate formats. Sorry, they do not work with each other. Best bet is to do as Mike suggested, just have your friends download Logon Studio.
Most of my is usually spent cleaning up after Jafo. But when I'm not busy doing that I try to keep WinCustomize running (when I'm not breaking it)!
WinCustomize, 1 year old. WOW! Can't believe how much has happened in the last year. What a roller coaster of a ride. And of course, Happy Birthday Carlitus!
Happy Birthday to yooouuuuuu Happy Birthday to yooouuuuuu Happy Birthday Dear Alexandrieeeeeee Happy Birthday to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!
I must apologize for the messages board being up and down over the past couple of days. We've ran into some database problems and I was having problems getting the systems to sync properly. Hopefully I have everything tied back together and working properly now.
ugg. had some massive database issues today. Looks like some things still are not happy.
Hey Jaggy, your welcome. As far as skinning, in your drengin.net there is a skin\drengin directory. Bassically what you need to do is copy your skin into this directory, rename the .uis file to be drengin.uis and change all the path references inside of the uis file "skinname\" to be "drengin\". That should do it. (The DGM will probably get updated in the next day or two, Jaggy was using a test build)
You are all lucky that I don't have more time to tinker or you would all be in trouble. heheh
Out of curiousity, what is the best nag system that you have encountered that makes you buy a product. For me, I was using a search and replace tool that would only allow you to edit 5 files during one session. You would then have to close and reopen the program in order to continue replacing your files. At first I was able to live with that but after I started using it more and more it was finally enough that I ventured out and purchased the program. Not every shareware progra
Hey Splash, Maybe you can do some icons for his new operating system! You were looking for something to do. Perfect opportunity.
I must say that I have been impressed with all the great skins that have come out. I just wish that there was more awards to be given out because there are just so many great skins out there.
How honest are people when they think nobody's looking? Rob Pegoraro, from the Washington Post, talks about software pirarcy in the shareware industry. To view his story click on the following link.
Treetog, Thanks, I forgot about that. I have just changed the sort box to have both Create Date and Update Date. Create Date is now by default. So the default view will not show updated skins at the top of the list anymore.
