The more I think about this topic, the more I think that a stats reboot will be completely pointless. All this will do is prevent those with experience from playing others with experience. I think that instead there needs to be a complete overhaul of the system. I think the majority of players have found that the ranking system (AKA the Elo system) does not do a good job in describing a player's skill. There are two primary reasons for this. The first is that i

We finally get a game going, it's fairly balanced, then hurray! Disconnect happens. I We'll try again another time I guess. -- Tukulis
I don't know if thats an exploit or intended. All I know is you can't cap the other flag without getting zapped. The capture radius for the flags are different as in the goldmine's radius is 15 while the celerity's is 10 its in the lua script so I personnaly think its intended.(no not because its in the lua script if thats what it sounds like)
I don't know anything about digging around in the lua script files, but
Know all those people with a 4-1 record that sit at the top of the Demigod list and keep going up and up in rankings? I'm talking about the screen for individual demigod rankings. This post is about that phenomenon. As many of you may know, I play pretty much entirely custom matches. One day for the heck of it I played a couple of Pantheon matches. I'd been doing pretty good on the Erebus rankings page... Like #18 or so. But I was one of those people with

Are there any plans to fix the bug/exploit where the opposing team can capture the gold mine flag(s) on Cataract while standing outside the range of the towers? -- Tukulis
Without Hauberk and Sigil, it would certainly be tough to survive. If you're fighting the opposing team solo then you probably won't get away. Of course you should never be fighting the opposing team all by your lonesome. Your goal is to support your team. As to the health bug, it's not like the minions are going to have any less health if I purchase the item. They just don't get the boost when summoned. Crummy, but what can you do. If the enemy is

Good luck in your match tomorow! If you need last minute practice, just let the community know. -- Tukulis
I’m thinking we should get rid of the “skirmish” mode. Very few people use it and it only serves to divide the community. Instead, Pantheon would become the focus of ranked games and help build a larger base of players for it. But in order to do that, we have to deal with the problem of hyper-competitive people who quit games on start if they don’t get the person they want to play with.
I don't like the phrase "Pantheon wou
I'd be happy to help. Just say when. Or feel free to join one of our games. -- Tukulis
And this last one is a favorite of mine. Before facing us, this team defeated TrouserSnake69, Yuri77, and KALELsmX (Aka Pacov's boys). Then went on to beat Azure247, Tukilus, and lethstang (All extremely good players). And then went on to defeat Casho, KingC83, and ivorgor (If you don't know who these three are then you don't play demigod). And right as we were about to finish them, they decided it would save their egos the shame to call us
To Pacov: Come play us sometime. We have a heck of a time finding anyone to play. Just hop in and say you have a team and we'll accomidate. (Usually we're 3v3 or 4v4). Next time we see you hosting a game, I'll try and get everyone in your lobby. (Yeah, that's a real challenge in itself). To McShane: Come on, man... Bringing that silly game up. Beating me while I'm using Tower Rook is like beating up the short kid with glasses for his lunch money. I
Wait... Rematch doesn't toss you back to a lobby, but instead just instantly starts up a new game with same teams and same DGs? That's not exactly what I had pictured. If I'm going to want a rematch I'm also probably going to want to change DGs. -- Tukulis
It might just be me, but that "switch places with opponent demigod" power looks completely unreasonable. It appears to have no counter whatsoever. Take for instance.... Cataract. Enemy DG is attempting to capture center flag. Your team has a UB stationed right next to your towers (or worse, inbetween all 4). New DG lines himself up, swaps places. UB grasps, towers decimate enemy while UB + New DG wail on him. What can the target do about this?
Just wanted to say good job on fixing the exploits. Also the temporary removal of those items is a good way to deal with the situation until such time as the code is fixed. -- Tukulis
I've had games desync one time when someone quit, then the desync does not appear again afterwards. These games were recorded normally after being played to completion. I take it that should this happen in the future, the game will just end. 8( -- Tukulis
Gold comes from a variety of sources. Goldmines, Currency upgrade at Citadel, Creeps, Structures, and Enemy Kills. It just doesn't flash the big message at you when you kill, say... a tower. I believe towers are worth 300 gold each. It all adds up. As QoT, you're one of the top DGs around for killing minions. Level 7+ Ground spikes will flat out kill anything except giants (unless the enemy has upgraded creeps). If you're not getting enough gold it pr
I play QoT alot. Infact, she's probably my most played DG. I don't necessarily agree that she's under powered post level 10 (though I used to think so). If you look at things in a vacuum, this may be the case. If she's so underpowered at 10+, why do people keep playing and winning with her? My thinking on this is two fold. 1: At early levels, you're more able to hold a lane than other DGs. This leads to more XP, gold, and possibly a destroyed tower
Next patch stats will be visible in game and premades who refuse to fight players with similar records will hopefully have a much harder time playing at all. Even without this kind of thing it's taken my friends and I over 40 minutes to get a game going with people joining/leaving - joining/leaving - joining/leaving OOPS! Loby crash.... Start over again
