I found it strange that the only players I seem to see have either a ranking of #20,000+ or less than about #3000. I wondered where all the people with a ranking of say... #10,000ish were.. Vaguely, I had the idea that this must be all those people that bought the game, but never played online. After a few minutes of research, this is what I found: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/rankings/ladder/page/180 http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/rankings/lad

You can put whatever you want in the title and random people still join. Also... Just because I would like to play other premades, that doens't mean A: They want to play me, or B: Those I play with will be in the mood to do it. As to the 3v4 thing, our whole point in playing together is because we don't want to play with random people. People who can't play the game will lose more games than people who can play the game will win. It's just like any other game/sport.
I'd quite like to play other premades. The matching system makes it impossible though. If you're trying to get 2 groups into 1 room with all sorts of random people joining... Well first you have to co-ordinate who's going into which room. And if you're not already in there, some random folks probably are. Then you start kicking people and... woopse.... the room/host crashes. So you try it again. Heck, today we took probably 30 minutes just to get a 5v5 goin
Just another option for you to consider.... Host your own games and put no-premades in the title? Just an idea. -- Tukulis
Putting "PREMADE" in the title is just like saying "Please don't join my game, unless you're so new that you don't even know what a premade is." Good luck trying get another premade to join yours. -- Tukulis
Regarding pantheon/skirmish: I like the idea someone mentioned where it will team you up with people who are on your friends lists. That would be EASY to do. What's the consensus here on that thought?
This idea has some flaws to it. Ok... Say Joe and Bob want to get on a team together. They both log in, go to skirmish, and click go. At this point, what can happen? 1: Maybe Joe cli
I've never used an oak minion build. I almost never play oak, so I don't know much about him. I do not recall ever playing against an oak minion build that was effective. From the little discussion I've had with those that do play oak, his spirits are hard to control, and mostly used to feed his Soul Power skill. I certainly could be wrong on this topic as I think I've played oak a grand total of 3 times. I haven't yet fought an oak that used minions effectivel
Tier 4 idols are quite crucial if you want to maximise you mid game damage. With ring of divine might tier 4 priests do almost 90 damage each and siege demolisher do about 80 damage which amounts to 340 damage. A complete army should do almost 700 damage which gets quite devastating when enemy armor is 2k and below. Most artifacts don't really boost minions builds that strong (while having to pay a higher price).
<
So far as I know, if a desync happens the game is not reported in any case. -- Tukulis
I play a build very similar to this. Though I tend to leave shamblers at level 1 and go for some utility such as a point in spike wave and some compost. I really wish they'd replace uproot with a skill that was useful to give me some variety, but I digress. In longer games, I have 3 tips for you if you decide to stay with a more offensive build: 1-Don't underestimate the power of decimating buildings. Often enemy teams have ignored me on a side, or eve
Just to add my two cents... This is a subject my friends and I have talked about several times while patiently waiting for our premade (GASP) custom game to get off the ground. What we've found is good players will rarely stick around after looking up our records. Players that hate premades will flame us, then leave (at least this provides us a good laugh). We're left with people that are so new to the game they don't know what a premade is, and players that just don't care.
fuck man lol, everything you write is tl;dr, try spacing it out atleast before you go and post 300 words of opinionated blah blah for us to read. Yet another one... Too bad you can't see more.
Yes yes... It's a typo. Hours = minutes. Corrected. And thanks for completely missing the entire point(s). The point is, it's not fun having to earn all that favor AGAIN . And that taking stuff from people is Bad(tm). There was an alternative which I and many others would have found preferable. -- Tukulis
Resetting favor was, I feel, a bad move. I feel I am being punished for something that I did not do. The reason that has been given is that because some favor was not reported correctly for some games. From reading posts on these forums, it seems the same thing is happening again after the patch. It also seems that because the cause has not been fixed, the same thing may happen again sometime in the future. I had spent 4000ish minutes (70ish hours) getting rough
Is there any sort of estimate on when this will become a useful method of communication? I know it's being worked on, I was just wondering what sort of priority it had. I keep sending messages off into the ether understanding they might get them eventually, but the prospect of getting any sort of immediate repsonse is nebulous at best. -- Tukulis
Creeping just to push their creeps back seems like a good idea. Again, it falls prey to simply being pushed back by one enemy demigod. The problem with just getting +weapon damage is that the enemy can do exactly the same thing. Oak, Reg, Erebus, UB all do this better than QoT. If you're in open form spiking, you don't get the benifit of your shield. If you're shielding yourself, you can't use spikes. The time it takes to change forms will
I suppose the real question is: Are there any QoT lategame strategies? Post level 11 or so, the power of the queen seems to go downhill. Shield becomes less effective. The time it takes to change forms becomes a real problem due to lower total HP values. Minion damage is reduced by ever increasing armor rating of foes. Burst damage levels out by this point and becomes less and less effective. No matter what build you use it seems that late game confrontatio
Ending up in an uneven match through a bug, or someone dropping out at just the right moment during the match making is one thing. Intentionally matching a 2v1 or a 3v2 or (and I suppose it's possible) a 3v1... well I know I wouldn't want to be outnumbered, no matter how good I was. I suppose if it was 2 seriously good players against 3 completely new players the 2 would win. But even 2
For those of us that get paid on the 15th/30th of the month, having this coupon expire on payday is rather... Suck. -- Tukulis
One other thing I'd like to see along these lines would be: What are the people on my friends list doing? Maybe say something like saying what game they're playing, and when that game started. That way I know not to bug them while they're in game and have an idea of when they might be done with their current game. -- Tukulis
Sometimes I want to play a new DG. Sometimes I want to try unusual builds, or new favor items. Sometimes I see some new people and wouldn't mind helping them learn to play the game. Sometimes I want to knock back a few and see how bad Yetis really are. The problem with all these is, if I lose... My hard earned stats go kaputz. How about a game mode that doesn't count... Call it Free Play. Sure we could fight against the AI, but that really defeat
Most custom games have one of these tags associated with them. My question is: Do most people also expect the word "only" to be understood? I'm in the US east catagory, and I feel no problem joining anything in the US. I avoid GER or FR tags because I don't speak those languages. But what about EU? Do you europeans want all us US folks to stay out, or is it ok to join? -- Tukulis

Because in the end, even when we fail, we still succeed. gg http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/571583/player/52516/ Just a really close game that could have swung either way, but we ended up winning the favor battle even though we lost the match. -- Tukulis
