Dell Dock is a good app for those new to docks. However, for us seasoned users of these mighty apps, something like regular OD would better suit me.

Good to hear that OD updates haven't been forgotten. I would like OD 2.0 to use less memory than the current build. (That's why people have been using other dock apps...) How long is the wait? Post some screens of the alpha builds!
I just got a new computer today, I decided to get XP, but was sick of looking at the standard XP "Luna" theme. So I look into customizing xp for the first time. I didn't want to change XP dramatically or make it look like Vista. So I went for the "royale noir" theme. I added the Stardock, some yahoo widgets and a nice wallpaper of my favorite musician. I think got a nice fresh look and some cool new features. I realize for you guys this is pretty standard but I quite like it
<

LOADS of icons (from all around the net - not just Wincustomize, mind you), all custom (except for Impulse), with that awesome [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=14514&libid=29"]Vienna Rapture dock background[/link]!

DeviantArt is good for some unique wallpapers (e.g. photography, Vista/OS X wall mods, ect.) and some simple, minimalistic skins. I find stuff there that I would never see on Wincustomize (or anywhere else for that matter). It just shows you how HUGE the skinning/graphics community is! WinCustomize is still the best, though...

Today, I downloaded MyColors and tried to apply a theme. When I tried to apply, I got this screen: I did have a demo of IconPackager on my system, but it was uninstalled last month (way before I installed MyColors). The wallpaper, WindowBlinds, and Desktop X properties of the themes work just fine. I don't have any form of an OD subscription. Is there any way to correct this problem?

XP is still good for developers, OS modders (like good 'ol Mr. Windows X), and older computers. Now that computers have gotten faster (and more complex for that matter), we need something new. I have moved on to Vista pretty well. (My only problem is my scanner, but it's to be expected since its from sometime around 1999-2001.) XP is good, and it will remain so for a few more years.
