I am tired of this disciple/Orky myth...it boggles my mind so many people believe in it.... As proof that it is in fact a MYTH, I have two records you are welcome to DL and watch... Orky vs. Cobalts Orky vs. Disciples In the first battle, we have an Orky with 1 HP upgrade go against a lvl 2 Marza (with radiation bomb and raze planet, pretty standard b
My bet is that if it's a low level progenitor, you will lose about 10 disciples, but if you have lvl 3 or higher shield regeneration (so level 5 cap) you will probably lose less than the TEC would...
Play a small game, 2v2 or 3v3...hope one of your teammates is nice and gives you tips...

Most vasari players dont know/forget to research this b/c its hidden in an obscure corner in defense tree, but its probably the most cost effective research in the entire vasari arsenal.
Concur! I think I might have had one, some oddball 2v2v2 or something.... Funny thing for me is that I only seem to get runtime errors while winning, go figure....but that may be because the other times someone else dropped....
Exactly that, except you should never attempt to sb enemys homeworld with the first Orky.
Doesn't hurt to throw a spare migrator at their HW if you happen to have one...even if you don't intend on deploying there, the enemy may not know that and may do something stupid trying to kill it...
You missed an obvious one seleu: you can use scouts to help colonize bigger and better defended planets. FYI, these runtime errors are not a big game only type of deal....got them in 3s and 2s, last runtime error was in a 3s that had only 2 players left... It is to the point where a lot of people are just going to stop playing....when most games are decided by player drops (like they are now), what is the point in playing?
such as the fact that apparently skirmishers and cobalts are way more effective at killing a starbase than disciples.
That's not a trade secret....that's a myth....some skilled players continue to spread this lie but testing has shown that all 3 factions can LF spam and stop any Orky rush dead cold provided they fleet ASAP and hit it when it starts building... I would argue Advent actually have an advantage over TEC...their disciples have more DPS per fl
I notice units tend to react faster in multiplayer such as faster auto-attacking between targets.
We need more player input in this, preferably multiplayer folks, not snobbish, stuck up, and rude modders
How eloquent...........nice to know how you really feel about me...
VR start is probably same as VL start... I see 2 strands of strategies with Vasari...one is to try Orky rushing, which either means you are putting an Orky on a key choke point or you are trying to place it on an enemy world (that's either a choke point or their HW)...this strategy is risking but the payoff can be huge...best lead for this strategy is either jarrasul or skirantra, though jarrasul is probably the preferred lead these days...typical fleets consist of pure corvettes.
I'm just curious.....there are at least 2 players I wonder about sometimes......
Saw an even WORSE start tonight...disruptor was in same boat as green above except the only nearby planet wasn't even a moon...and there were like 7 or so jumps between me (his nearest opponent) and him... This is 2 games now where the asteroid and moon are not connected to HW and are many jumps away....other people have told me they've seen this start up too, but I don't ever remember something like this occurring before rebellion (or even early rebellion)....</p
Lol I didn't know How smurfed...who does he play as now?
Sad thing is that since they are almost always runtime errors, there are no dump files to send in....
I think it is safe to say no one was using a mod for any of these pictures or videos...and I think it's safe to say Jingly and Sinkillr aren't regularly using mods.... I'm not convinced that cobalts act any differently than disciples, but I'm open to the possibility...the only 2 stat differences I can see being even remotely relevant are the fleet formation rank and the weapon cooldown times.... It doesn't make sense that this issue would only occur on ICO
Does seem to have gotten removed...idk what update removed it but I know it used to be this way in rebellion, so it wasn't a trinity -> rebellion change....
I am bumping this...well over half of games have people getting runtime errors...sometimes individual people crash, sometimes whole game... ICO lobby also is at a low...lots of lobby crashes and people DCing out of lobby for no reason....
Steam has only had a minor impact on smurfing.... People can still change their lobby name as much as they want to...they can also still change their steam name anytime...sure, their game record can't change but when dozens of people you probably don't know have similar records that isn't a very identifying characteristic...it is true that you can view all prior names of a steam account, but that is very inconvenient and tiresome, not to mention people will sometimes use t
