don't replace it with anything. keep the damage as it is now and allow demigods to also be targeted, adding an ever increasing snare amount 15/30/45/60/75% snare in addition to the damage it does. One of the big gripes about the QoT is how easily most folks run from her.. this would solve that.
I like this idea! I'm not sure about the snare effect...
Daikaze
Did someone drop? If so then it was their match that was counted and not yours... yeah, it sucks.
I think that there are abilities that are overpowered, but I don't think that the game is entirely unbalanced as a result. Abilities Mines: Mines is a bit much. Even if I can see them there is nothing that I can do about them. They can also be used as grenades which tends to result in some heavy damage before you can move out of blast zone. Create an ar
Mediocre film. I've seen the original TV show (and I prefer Next Generation), and I'm not a fan, but I understood it... The movie didn't really try to be a Star Trek film. It was more like they made an action film with the Star Trek intellectual property. Plot: Kind of boring... It certainly wasn't all that memorable. Some bad guy shows up, wanting revenge, and wants to destroy some planets and the Federation. Dialog: Terrible</p
Here's an idea: Have citadel upgrade that increases the range of the towers/forts. Although, it could potentially be a part of the structural upgrade. How would this change the game? If players choose to, they could upgrade the range of their towers in an effort to combat characters/minions can't outrange towers.
Hellgate: London At least I didn't have a lifetime subscription.
I try not to bark orders when I play, but if I feel that there is something a person should absolutely be doing then I'll tell them that they "should" be doing it. Usually it winds up being me telling them to push towards a specific flag. I'm not telling them what to do, I'm just telling them what should be done. Although, if you didn't tell them you had things under control (asking them to stop) then I think quitting was excessive. Right now we don't know the c
It's over 9000!
I kind of have to disagree. I don't think that those stats are an accurate indication of balance, partially because the recording of stats, and match making, don't always work. I don't believe that any particular Demigod is overpowered, but I do think that various abilities need to be improved/nerfed.
Well, if you are QoT then you won't have any issues fighting the two Castling Rooks . QoT has two AOE abilities, both of which are highly effective vs Rook and his towers. Uproot and minions are also very useful. UB can spit on the Rooks to keep them from using HoL. Erebus can minion spam the Rook and his towers. TB needs to use Frost Nova, Ring of Fire, Rain of Ice, and Fire Nova... any two should work.
http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/373712/player/18874/ Actually, it was myself (Daikaze) and XagelGamer in that match... but the match stats appear to indicate that Tlanyr must have been the human player (indicated by the high favor)... So, I'm under the impression that there was a desync somewhere and two matches were fought at the same time, but with different players amongst them... Unfortunately (for me as I won that match) it seems that my match was n
I think this is wishful thinking, as Frogboy said in another post on this forum that 12 demigods would be enough. Two of them are are already know and are almost complete, so we will have only 2 demigods left in the far future...He also said that he wishes this game would stay away from DOTA. This was a very disappointing, to say at least. I had high hopes for the future of this game, now it's almost dead in my eyes.
Archers and Tower of Light shouler options are a must in my book. They give you that added firepower and they help deter enemies from chasing you. The trebuchet is a bit questionable. It's got a nice range, and I'm not sure about the damage, but it tends to give your position away due to its long range... However, the poisoned arrows seem like they could be pretty effective.
I hate to bump, but this is still too relevant. After playing a match I find that It really sucks the life out of the game; even more so when the opponents leave due to the lag.
For some reason I keep thinking that you can use a flag lock to undo another flag lock... anyone able to confirm this?
I'm currently practicing with a pure ice TB. I just couldn't pull off a hybrid like I could with QoT. I max all of the ice powers and then put the rest into stats. How should I time Shatter? Should I shatter as soon as I piled on the RoI+Nova, or should I try and maximize the duration of the debuffs. I'm basing this on my interpretation of Shatter's claim of "consuming" the effects of RoI/Nova. As for items, yes the speed boots are great and so is the Magus wand... I think tha
Heck, just something that shows up on your record would be enough for me. Shows your win loss in Pantheon. Light, Dark, your Rank in the tournament, whatever.
It does. After the Pantheon ends the stats will still be listed on here on the Demigod site for people to look at. You can search for your alias and then look at previous Pantheon performances.
I have a feeling that the game code wouldnt recognize dmg negated by a sheild. Pretty sure it just counts it as 0 not -xxx
The shield has a certain amount of hp, so it'd have to register as damage dealt and not zero. Although, Oak's shield might be an issue. I think the award should count potions used (mana included) and Universal Gadgets, possibly even potions/scrolls picked up from Demigod deaths. S
Nice find!
Just tell them to buy Universal Gadgets and provide you with healing. :P
So its either you L2P or you will be yelled at.
Exactly! You need to learn to play and not rely on healing to survive. Anyone that sits around demainding to be healed is obviously not a good enough player to make due without it. Should Sedna heal allies? Of course she should, but that should be to help them survive long enough to retreat. It's like the
Concept: Insect/Monster that lays eggs to generate minions. This Demigod would be a General. Faction: Dark Abilities: Lay Egg: This Demigod lays eggs that will eventually hatch into minions. The eggs/minions come with an ability that is similiar to compost. After absorbing enough decaying matter they turn into minions. These minions would still benefit from the compost-like ability to heal them from fights, and potentially make them do more damage. Lev
Rook is a bit of a juggernaut. He is big, and slow, but given time he can become quite the force to be reckoned with. The key is to keep him from gaining momentum, or finding a way to slow him down after he starts ploughing through your base. Don't give Rook time to setup a tower farm! If you can keep him moving then he can't set up his towers in a nice deadly bunch. Regulus, TB, and QoT are probably the most suited for fighting a Rook. Frost TB is proba
Seventh, all people who have bought Demigod at retail or direct up May 10th (and didn't return the game obviously) will be getting a coupon that will let them purchase a second copy of Demigod for 50% off for a limited time as a way for us to show appreciation for this community that has put their faith and trust in us.
Hell yeah! I'm totally forcing my friend to buy the game with this coupon! I will be able to allow another to use this coupon right? I'd like to get my
Rook gets to say "Hammer time!" :P I think TB and Rook need to team up and make a CD. ;) The build sounds nice, but it seems odd that so few are actually using ice, and few seem to actually be using hybrid fire/ice builds. An ice heavy build is my current plan for the next Pantheon, so I'll heed your advice and see how it goes. ;) Oh, and it's nice to finally see that there is a TB that understands how to fight a Tower Rook. I play a Tower Rook and I hear nothing but QQ from T
Early game: Structural health upgrade is a must for most maps. Anytime: Carrying portal scrolls is essential if you know the enemy will be able to run fast than you. Hell, carry at least one in case you need to get to the other end of the map to aid an ally. Carry Universal Gadgets on Fortress mode! For the love of (demi)god heal those Forts! ;)
