Outlast her mana, or drain it. Burst the shield down - It's hard to do early on, but it's real easy later on.

I sort of like the idea, and I sort of don't... Mostly it sounds like a hodge-podge of classes from various games and existing Demigod abilities. Overall, when I think of what a Shaman is it'd just turn out to be another General for the Light side that is a combination of Oak and Sedna. Totems would work like Oak's flags (providing summons and pets), and a Shaman has to have a heal of some sort. In the end a Shaman doesn't feel very "Demigod-like" to me.
Mmm... I dunno, I'm not quite sure if Erebus is overpowered on not. I can say that he scares my Rook away all the time. Erebus has some great damage output and quite a lot of survivability, so he can be quite nasty... but I don't lose every match against him, nor do I lose every match versus the Unclean Beast, or even both of them as a pair. I agree that UB spit shouldn't be able to target structures, but I don't know about Erebus yet. The life drain alone seems l
I think the idea is basic enough... Simply put: I'd like to, eventually, see new Demigods that have no faction requirement. They would simply be Neutral heroes that can join the forces of Light or the forces of Darkness. For Pantheon, I think that these Neutral Demigods should still have to pick a side to fight for, but it allows for a larger variety of combinations. This would also allow some Demigods to be released one at a time rather than in pairs.
Storm Bringer (Yeah, the name needs work): Faction: Light Concept: He/she is a War Wizard General that controls the elements (particularly lightning). So he/she is a lightly armored mage that wields a sword. Abilities: Chain Lightning: Casts a bolt of lightning that jumps between targets. As the ability is upgraded the damage increases and the amount of jumps increase. Lightning Rush: Like Erebus' bat warp, but with lig
Yeah, it'd probably be better if the items were percentage based, but I definitely find that the minion enhancing items are better to be used on Erebus and Oak.
Solution: Remove the flag from that portal on the map. There are other maps with no portal flags, and yet they have controlled portals. I think it'd be for the best to just remove the portal flags from that map.
I'm finding a trend in my wins that show up as losses. Everytime it tends to be a match with a disconnect, but I believe that it is actually me who is disconnecting from the match and as a result the game goes on without me; the opponent is given an easy win due to my absence, and so it shows as a loss. Basically, the stats don't match what I had, because in the end it was my opponents match stats that got sent to the server. Of course, it could also be that there is so
I'm not sure that ability damage boosting items would be so great... Yes, there probably should be something to help abilities scale a little better, but I'm thinking that -cooldown items would be the best way to handle this, with an artifact/favor item that boost the damage to prevent too much stacking.
The AI is great! Just tonight I had Regulus Snipe an enemy tower... from within the tower's attack range. [e digicons]8O[/e]
I disagree with most of this... 1) If the player shows up and scores a kill then it's teamwork. I highly doubt they decided to warp in to get the kill themselves, they were trying to lend a hand. Sometimes they might be trying to kill steal, but odds are they weren't. 2) If you die, it's your fault. Sedna is not there to be your b**ch. Carry potions, teleport out, whatever you need to do to avoid feeding the enemy. It's up to the player whether or not to heal yo
I think Rook is the obvious choice... He's a giant freakin' castle that walks around clobbering things with a hammer. ;)
Maybe a reward for staying... like a "Good Sport" award or something you know? Just something to encourage players to stay. If I'm only going to get 10-25 favor then I might as well leave and find something else to do. If I could get at least half of what the winners get then I wouldn't mind sticking it out until the very end.
new rebalances... New items and new heroes = more imbalances. :P
So, it seems that oak can't be damaged while invincible (by design) but, oddly enough, it seems that he can be stunned while this ability is active. I don't know if this is intended or not, but I want to find out. ;)
Dark side doesn't have anyone big, nor do they have a real tank. Light side is missing a rapid melee dps and they don't have a pure [offensive] caster (like QoT and TB). There are no female Assassins. There are no heroes that are particularly designed for ambushing. This would likely involve a hero that could reduce the enemy visibility, locate enemies (like Regulus tracker), or teleport to enemies. Effectively, the hero would need a larger vision radius than the poten
It's sales based on the week... It's a nice start, but it'd be really impressive if Demigod can stay on those charts.
Yeah need to be more objective. And misinformation doesn't help (Erebus doesn't gain health while in mist unless you heart of life before it, unless they fixed that. In beta HoL right before mist worked and if you were REALLY fast at hitting keys you could do it in the middle of a fight.)
Yeah, my bad. It seems I was wrong about Erebus ( I did some testing to verify); I'm positive that I've seen him heal while in m
Using mist form freezes your health.. unless they changed it from beta.
Nope, he regenerates during the use of this ability. EDIT: Seems I was wrong. As far as Sedna and health regen goes, I just think that health regen becomes unbalanced when stacked. I'm just suggesting diminishing returns at some point. Perhaps I'll have to re-evaluate my opinion of Spit. I'll pl
Spit: I don't think it is unbalanced too badly. It does comparable damage to any other Demigod's ability. It just does so over a longer period of time. You're saying that it does damage TOO quickly? Rook can do 1700 damage with his hammer in about 2 seconds.
Yeah, but it's easy to avoid the hammer, but it's really hard (stun and/or run away) to avoid a spit. Rook has to really time the hammer or use a boulder roll to stun the target and then hit them.
I kind of like the idea of an insectoid Demigod.
A hero that self-replicates would be cool. It'd make for an interesting general. ;)
Okay, so it seems that there's a lot of discussion about various Demigods being overpowered or underpowered. I've heard arguements for both sides of every Demigod. I've done my best to play a variety of Demigods, and I've come to a few conclusions. What it boilds down to is that certain mechanics and abilities are overpowered when they are combined with various items or abilities. Health regen is overpowered in this game. The amount of +health regen tha
I think the balance is pretty good, but there are abilities that need to be tweaked.
