Huh? You're going to kick players that choose to play Oak or Erebus? I don't want to sound rude... but, it seems like you just need to learn how to fight them properly. They are just as difficult/easy a fight as any other Demigod. I don't think anyone is particularly overpowered in this game, but there are a few abilities that need to be balanced.

Your not really the host, but someone always drops from a match... I never understand why. Although, if there is nobody left in the game it may have been you that dropped.
It would be nice if they weren't being used like hand grenades...

In other words: It ends even when your shield absorbs damage. I'm curious as to whether or not Oak's Invuln ability allows for the "Heart of Life" to function. I've also been wondering whether o
I have no issues with a "Clan" Pantheon allowing players to choose any Demigod. This is assuming that in a "Clan" Pantheon the players would be earning favor for their clan and not the sides of Light or Dark. Of course, I'm also assuming that a "Team" Pantheon would be a "Clan" Pantheon, and if this is the case I would totally support the idea. If a "Team" Pantheon is simply pre-arranged teams (with no Clan requirements for teams) fighting for Light or Dark then it'd be

Favor is given based on the awards you get at the end of the match. One time I actually lossed and recieved more favor than anyone on the winning team. "It's not about whether you win or lose, it's how you play the game." :P
Yeah, it stopped on the 17th for me too, and apparently it did for some others as well. The reports have been very few though. Hopefully the site just hasn't updated... it'd be slightly annoying to lose the data, but I suppose it'd be lost when the Pantheon changes anyways.
Heh, kind of funny... kind of. :P Underpowered and Overpowered: It's still early, I felt some things were OP/UP at first, and eventually I came to realize I just needed to play differently. I still think some things are UP/OP, but I'd rather give it a little more time and see if that is really the case.
Well, assuming they weren't Nightmare AI, I'd have to say they simply knew how to properly upgrade their Citadel. They could have purchased the experience upgrades or the +experience gain favor item to boost their levels. If the other guy was left alone enough to creep they would have gained quite a bit of xp as a result... Even more so if they were the Queen of Thorns as she tends to level fast due to her AOE capabilities. It also seems logical that they purchased the +gold upgrade f
Initially I don't think Demigod will sell that well. The rocky launch has likely hurt the initial sales of the game, but given time I think the game will sell pretty well... However, it will take some serious work to rebuild the image of the game after some of the complaints. Right now I don't think the game is doing poorly, but gamers tend to remember these sorts of things and it will take some convincing to get them back. Basically, Stardock and GPG will need to put i
I wouldn't mind a stealth-assassin character. Perma-stealth shouldn't exist, but it should be a self buff or something like mist where it drains energy during use and disables during attack. Mostly I support the idea so that the other anti-stealth items would have more use. :P
So, last night I played a match where a player had a negative SIM speed. This caused the game to slow down to a crawl and this went on long enough for me to upgrade all of the citadel minions to get to giants. So, approximately half the match was spent in slow-motion. It's my understanding that the low SIM speed is caused by poor computer performance (can anyone confirm?), but I get the impression that this could somehow be exploited in matches. The game should tally up negati
It all depends on my mood. Sometimes I inform the opponent that I'm leaving, but that usually only happens if the enemy is leading by a large amount and I don't feel like waiting for the end. This typically happens on Dominate maps where my ally disconnects and the opponent is over 1K points ahead of me. I prefer to play until the end, but it's boring if I'm on my own and the enemy isn't engaging me in conversation. It's easier to lose when you have someone to chat with (#demigod chat
Think about it this way -- would you have bought the game if you only had a choice of 4 chars instead of 8?
Sure... I'd buy the game if I could only use 4 chars in Pantheon instead of 8... The rest of the game let's me use all 8, so I'm perfectly fine choosing a side for Pantheon.
/agree I'd also like to see a castled city map. ;)
I'm not entirely convinced that the current timer on towers is intentional. You already have a cap on how many can be up at the same time. If you compare to other skills, like summoning minions or laying mines, they all have a number cap but no time limit. If you look at other skills that do have a limited time, it is clearly written in the descriptions of the skills - and they have no limit to how many effects can be up at the same time.
</p
customizationability
That is not a real word.... The word you are looking for is "customizability." Don't worry, it's only natural for lesser peons to get confused with big words. :P I think the idea needs a bit more explanation. Are you talking about people using 3DMax and modding tools to make new heroes, or are you talking about an ingame character creator? Personally, I don't think the idea would work out too well. In the end you'd have a few
I disagree with this idea. I like the fact that restrictions exist for Pantheon. If you want unrestricted matches you can always play a custom game.
I really would like to see developers make games where choices in the game don't suck. If there is a choice in the game, the choice shouldn't suck - that's a no brainer. For instance, it seems that these minion idols suck. I've spent gold buying the damn things, and the minions are slaughtered in no times, and the priests don't heal for shit. I used to spend all my gold getting upgrades on the citadel. I'd upgrade the creeps step by step, upgrade the towers, yadda yadda. Then fin
I think the time limit is appropriate. They don't demolish when the Rook dies, but they will disappear after a period of time. A Tower build Rook can be pretty annoying. :P I'd rather seem them vanish when the Rook dies, but the current situation is fine by me.
Multiplayer lag is likely caused by your connection to other players. Even if you have a good connection, the game's latency is still going to depend on the connection of other players in the match. Hopefully the matchmaking system will be improved to consider the location of players.
