Healing doesn't count as an assist on a kill? I think healing/shielding should provide something, but then again, it'd be limited to only a few Demigods being able to get it.
Yeah.. I'm not sure if using bramble shield to 7 sec recharge was a good idea. If she has enough mana, it's really.. really.. hard to kill her. It was fine at 15 seconds. She was one of the best Demigods.. 12 recharge and 45 second duration might be a better idea, but I'd have to play moreto really tell.
Yeah, but it's hard enough to kill enemies with her too. Just burst the shield down, most heroes can d

Rook : He can drop towers, but overall he is a big castle and he has plenty of staying power. Sedna : Her heals and Yetis give her staying power. The Heal Aura is helpful for this as well. QoT : The best defense is a good offense. She is a capable pusher and her shield let's her hold ground very nicely. Erebus : He can turn into mist, and with proper +mana regen gear he can hold for a long time.

Was it me? I do this all the time, and I primarily play as QoT. I use speed boost items, "Bramble Shield", and "Heart of Life" to stay out on the field so that I can keep pushing. She's a terrible Demigod killer, but with a [human] teammate she will always get the most assists. :P
I'm a bit confused about this Demi...it controls minions, shields (paladin bubble anyone), and heals? Tell me this just isn't too much. &n

Well, I'll share my build. Eventually I might make an actual thread about it, but a post will suffice for now. I start off with Bramble Shield and the Boots of Speed. These keep me alive and allow me to be greedy about kills. As soon as I have 4000 gold I get the Heart of life. If you have extra money getting more move speed isn't a bad idea. I usually get Uproot or Compost next... but I don't think Compost boosts your standard damage, so Uproot is usually a bet
Uhhh all heroes except sedna have a very powerful AoE.
I was referring to the fact that one of her strengths, in her profile, is listed as AOE Damage.
Also after that one guy said
Mulch : It's good for healing, but the damage radius is useless considering Shamblers are ranged attackers in the first place.
I decided I

I think the new ones will be Assassins due to Assassin popularity. Dark: Dark needs a big tank Demigod. King of the Giants or something might be cool. Light: I think it should be a female Assassin, likely a melee dps character.

I've been trying new builds with a lot of success. She certainly isn't effective in "Slaughter" maps but she does play the support role rather well. I don't use her minions, at all; I just don't think they are useful enough. So, my views have changed slightly from the original post: Compost : I still think this should boost her weapon damage or provide health/mana (regen?). Mulch : It'

I think your math is wrong. Player 1 connects to players 2 through 10, thus players 2 through 10 are connected to player 1. Player 2 connects to players 3 through 10, and thus all other players are connected to player 2. Etc. Of course, this assumes that connections are two way and not one way. So, you could be right, I'm just not sure how things are done with Demigod.

Weaken minions and give Generals an Aura to buff their minions to current standards. The end result is that sending minions away from their owner will make them easier to kill. Although, I still think it's too early to nerf/balance anything. Players still need to work their builds out, and I don't really think this nerf should go through until people play a bit more. Right now it sounds like a problem with Sedna and not all of the Generals.
Idol minions shoud either cost gold to summon (base of 50 with an additional 50 for each level should do it) or they should provide gold and xp when killed.
If it cost gold to summon Idol minions then I think they'd go unused. When I play any of the Generals they are usually low priority for me. The Healers are nice and it can be useful to have the ranged ones, but overall it's money wasted, more so if they cost money to summon. Killing Assassins

No! This idea would have a major negative impact on Generals. Basically, Generals would wind up providing more XP than Assassins without the extra performance. What's the trade-of?

I think the sides are relatively balanced... Queen of Thorns: Tank / AOE - She can shield allies, although only one shield may be placed. Unclean Beast: Melee DPS Torch Bearer: Ranged DPS Lord Erebus: DPS - He can put out some decent DPS and he can do some tanking if done properly. I wouldn't mind a real tank for the Dark side.

This strategy doesn't work anymore... I think it got nerfed with the "Day 0" patch. It's no surprise though, it always worked. :P

It should be fixed, but overall it's not a big deal. Those low end minions are awfully weak and an AOE will probably wipe out all of the General's minions.

I can't say that I disagree with them. I do think that their review is a little early though. The lack of maps means little as they wind up being pretty epic matches. Metacritic is where to go for reviews...

I'm finding my build of choice to be: Bramble , Uproot , Compost , Spike Wave . It's been a general purpose build and I tend to get the " Heart of Life " and Priest/Bishop . Extra money is usually spent to boost my speed.

Abilities are not affected by items. So, your abilities cannot leech health... But I don't think abilities are mitigated by armor either. Also, the abilities won't leach even if Lord Erebus is giving you his life steal aura.
