Well, if the suffix in Elemental holds any weight you might avoid putting any unreasonably large hopes on a reduced emphasis on military victories.
Nah, it's just a name to make it sound cooler... It wouldn't sound quite as cool if it was "Elemental: Peace and Harmony of Magic." :P
Where do I get this patch? NVM! It automatically told me to update after restarting the game.
About an hour or so is what it is looking like to me. I'm downloading at ~500 KB/S and the game is 1.88 GB. Of course, I still need to download Update 0 afterwards.
The report button doesn't seem to be working for me in both IE and Firefox. I click it, nothing happens; I click it again and it says I have a report open.

I like this idea!
Any chance of there being non-military victories? Cultural / Religious / Economic / Fear / etc would all be good ways to win a game. Fear is one of those things where the enemy joins you simply because they don't feel they can compete (either you have a large military or are a massive nation).
I think he is probably asking for pre-arranged teams for ranked matches for the purpose of clans and such.
It's 'cause everyone wanted to be Rook. :P

I'll probably try them all... But I plan to try the generals first, and then the Assassins (starting with the Unclean Beast).
That sounds decent. Even better if governors have their own personalities and desires... and could potentially betray you. ;) In some cases I'd rather give the "Governors" control of the military so I can focus on my cities. ;)
Heh, I was thinking more about repetition within a single game itself and not the repetition of multiple games being similiar.
Civilizations was/is a great series, but eventually games became so tedious that you'd automate most of your stuff, go through boring repetition, or simply quit. It wasn't all that enjoyable to sit there and have to manually control every little thing in the game. So, how will Elemental avoid such tedious repetition?
This sounds cool!
I was thinking that it'd be nice to have something random to keep the game interesting, and potential turn the tides of battle. By disasters I was thinking of things like: Dragon attacks : player's city is attacked by a ferocious dragon. Players must fend it off, either killing it or getting it to retreat (perhaps with treasure). If it retreats the player could seek out the dragon's layer and lay waste to it. Barbarian / Monster hordes : Random attac
It'd be cool to select the colors (primary and secondary at least) of my nation. Even better if I get to choose more styles.
Will the graphics style remain the same? I know that it will look better, but I really hope for that graphics style. I kind of like those dark outlines and that shaded look.
Woops... forums bugged on me and my post wasn't showing... so I tried a refresh and then a repost. :(

And no inteligent design is nonsense; it can't just appear out of nowhere. Therefore we are back to where we started. Maybe its just finite beings trying to understand infinite universe. I think all of those ideas are terrible. None of these ideas would "punish" Gamestop; These ideas would all punish Stardock/GPG, which is the total opposite of the desired outcome. In the end Gamestop is a source of income, and they could always choose not to sell Demigod; r worse, games published by Stardock. The best option, in the end, is to get over it and move on. Stardock won't, and shouldn't, do anything about it. I suppose the fans can always do somethin

Huh? Animals manipulate their environments just like humans do. Animals build nests from, or in, nearby surroundings. Lemon Ants kill all but one species of plant, thus providing themselves with more nesting sights (the plant type that survives their poison). Various species of ants will basically farm aphids as livestock; moving them from one feeding ground to the next and feeding off of the honeydew produced by the aphids. In turn the ants protect the aphids and prov
Command and Conquer (1)... I still remember the song "Mechanical Man." That game had a great sound track.
