Okay everybody else is posting games, I might as well out 2 of my smurfs and post a few games as well. 2v2, VASARI SB RUSH: I was "coming for blood" in the lower left (roid fucked, of course). I pushed a few SBs on an Advent player in the lower right. If you don't want to watch a brutally long game, this is the game to watch. http://www.filefront.com/15091119/coming4blood-sb-rush.record 5v4 LATE GAME VASARI: I was "Nightmare Crush" in the we

I've said this a dozen times. I guess I have to say it again. It wasn't about skill. It was about two "popular guys" with "big names" (names which are listed on various "pro" lists on this forum) who popped up and asked others to be booted so they could have a seat. There were plenty of unskilled people in the game, which is usual because there are so few people online playing that hosts have to take whoever comes so they can fill a game. This game didn't hav
No, its not true , u must want it, u must be stubborn, u must go through it. Most will sat "fuck it" This is the common problem of online games. Moste of people dont want to get better. And they whine and the devs, who depends of playerbase, listen to the voice of the mob and use nerfbat. And skill stop beeing important factor. And numbers begine to matter the most. AND ITS SUX. I say thank u Stardoc for keeping sins the way it is, where personal skill and strate
You're Amish- what do you know about sins? You have to experience sin first to know what it is :-)
Hey, try this. When playing the game, focus on taking names and kicking booty, but after the game is over, watch the REPLAY, where you can then focus on the beautiful elements at your leisure, and even pause it, zoom in, etc. By the way, sorry I couldn't answer your text earlier on ICO. I was in the middle of a heated battle :-)
That comment is surprising from someone who complains as much as you do about the toxicity of the online community.
Cykur, I hope you didn't take that wrong, I meant no disrespect. It was a joke - a playful way to say "hey man, I want to see you play!" I should have thrown a smiley face or two in there to make sure everyone knew I was playing. Apologies man!
Agent I am gonna say this again, EVERYONE GET KICKED AT SOME POINT, I BEEN KICKED PLENTY OF TIMES BEFORE I CAME GOOD, whats the point in skilled peoples killing not skilled people?
Dude, what the hell is wrong with your reading-comprehension skills? Do you possess them? How many more times do you want me to say that THIS ISN'T AN ISSUE OF SKILLED GAMES OR SKILLED PEOPLE? What part of tha
These lists are mostly composed of the exact same people, and they mostly say the exact same things about those people, i.e. "no better eco-whore than this guy, no better guy to have on your team when the chips are down than that guy" blah blah. It's like, boring. These lists remind me of Hollywood awards. A bunch of people who love to stroke each others' dicks, give each other awards, and tell each other how great they are. It's for people who don't want high school
Come on Cyk, don't be a pussy! We'll give you a week to knock the rust off and get your skills back. Show us what you got!
Remember that you have to "focus fire," i.e. grab all units and target a single unit of his with them at a time.
I think I will not use autoattack on the stupid frig anymore, but thing is I hate jumping back to my planet and seeing the frig just sitting there getting fired right in the face and not doing anything about it, and also believe it or not if you forget to pull the frig or are just too busy to deal with it, it will kill the siege frig so you don't lose your planet.
I did download them but once I load them in Entrenchment, it says invalid something and I can't watch them .
Make sure you have the latest updated version of Entrenchment, and then make sure you get the replays for that version.
I don't count on autocast doing what I want it to do, and I make a point of checking in on my units rather than leaving them to their own devices.
I try not to ever rely on autocast either, but it's news to me that a frigate will not colonize automatically. Sure, if I had the luxury I would hit pause every few seconds of the game and tend to everything that is going on manually, but as you know, in an online MP game this is im
So I play a game online last night. Game starts, I send out the scouts, build a colonizer frig, queue up my capship, blah blah. My scout finds the connecting roid, so I do what I always do - I click on my colonizer frig, turn on autoattack (so that it attacks the siege frig after it colonizes), and send it to the roid. Then I go on to do other things for the next few seconds - things that needed to be done. I didn't hear the "new colony acquired" message I usually he
2 questions: 1) How do I get Vanilla music into Entrenchment? 2) I could have sworn that there used to be an option to cycle the music instead of playing the same music every time for every race? But I can't find that option now? Or am I thinking about another game?
Like Darvin3 said, vasari scouts will work too, but they aren't as good as Advent or TEC scouts. Try Advent against him. If you do everything right, you should be able to crush his strat.
5 planets - 53 minutes. Hows that?
Sounds like you have improved but are still quite behind. Watch the RagingAmish or other replays you said you downloaded, and watch how they colonize. Once you see what they do, you will know what you are doing wrong.
If you are playing Advent or TEC (either will do, but I especially recommend Advent for this strat), start making hoards of scouts right away. Seriously. Just get your colonization cap and go off colonizing with a small fleet of light frigs, and meanwhile just sit there and keep tapping the "build scout" button. Do all the normal stuff, i.e. upgrade your planets, get extractors on them, blah blah, (get your 2 civil labs to research ice and volcanic), but other than that, wit
And so I have this right...I should take a fleet plus a capital ship out to colonize?
Yes, you need a fleet to colonize with your colonization capship because otherwise it would take forever and a day to kill all the neutrals at the planet you are trying to take. Asteroids are lightly contested, and sometimes ices or volcanos are lightly contested, but terrans and deserts are often heavily contested with multiple long range frigates and heavy cruisers - it is diff
My idea for additional effects of the shield generator: Allows permits to be issued for city expansion and growth. Attracts more colonists from the system to live there because of the protection and safety of the shield generator. ADDED BENEFIT: POPULATION INCREASE.
The faction needs the phase inhibitor switch to tier 5 and the repair switch to shields just to start to be consistent with the rest of the game, though that isn't enough.
There aren't going to be any tech tree switches. Either way, these issues aren't why Advent seem overpowered. You don't see rampant Advent PJI or repair platform abuse, whatevever that would look like. You see almost-uncounterable illum spam. Illums aren't just an OP unit.&n
I know stackable overseers won't give you PJI. I'm saying if you upgrade the degredation, it will sort of be the same effect.
If you are playing as the vasari, you can (optionally) modify my instructions as follows: - drop down 1 military lab, research assailant. - instead of skirmishers, build a ton of assailants. - drop additional labs as required throughout your play to research phase missle and hull upgrades
The Akkan doesn't blow, it's a great ship. By all means use it.
