O man, you guys missed Vinraith vs. Everybody? It was a year ago and I still remember the epic curmudgeon threads ;P Vinraith - waiting for the demo is a good call
Thanks for the update, Bara. If this is not in the plans: If the desync/timeout bug is not 100% fixed prior to release please remove DC tracking or penalties from player stats. Players are logging disconnects they don't deserve. Thanks

For those who would care to continue the "Which DG is most OP" debate I've made a post over here . Everyone else - keep the reviews coming!
Over in the tester review thread people have been talking about which DG is "most OP." Rather than derail that thread further I thought we could talk about it here. Let's keep in mind Frogboy's excellent point:
EVERY Demigod is overpowered. On the IRC channel, there are arguments every day over which Demigod is "overpowered". Rook, Unclean Beast, Regulus, Sedna, Queen of Thorns, Torch Bearer. (though the vampire lord is
/bump This problem is much worse in Beta 3F. I have not successfully completed a team game in 3F because someone is always getting dumped. If you can't fix this by release please turn off the DC tracking in player stats, because none of the disconnects listed that I've seen are actually disconnects and the players shouldn't be penalized.
using a WRT100 v 1.0 (fairly new router) with current firmware success: Through Beta 3C very high connection and completion rate. In Beta 3D-E good connection but 20% of games end with 3 seconds of game freeze and someone being dropped by the system into an AI-only game. In Beta 3F this has happened in *every* game with more than two players. I cannot complete a team game in Beta 3F.
The main problem is at the moment that in a team with 1 vs 3, where the 3 contains at least 1 AI, the 1 has a pretty major advantage because the AI is so bad it just feeds gold, until the guy on his own is unkillable by the other team.
We've been saying this for a while, but just gonna get behind Caldur and agree that advantage in Demigod has nothing to do with team numbers. 1 experienced player can beat three new players

Is this coming out today? Are you guys burning the midnight oil and bringing it out tomorrow? Just looking at the calendar and Frogboy saying you will wrap up the 3F tester tournament by next Tuesday... Testers if you catch anything on IRC let us know Thanks, Kestrel Edit: Per Cari, coming in a few minutes (4/4/09, 12.18 EST)
I'll be interested to see if Lilakuh and Xan feel the same way after release. Less than two weeks til we get a lot of new blood. ;) I've definitely seen momentum shift in this game. It will be more common in ladder games against consistently good, organized teams. Right now in Beta PUGs a team of good players will rarely go up against an evenly matched team, so the momentum is there for a reason - one team is better.
On stupid AI - 3E AI is better at not following you all the way back to your crystal when you are kiting but they will still chase you to within range of your tower Defense if they have 50% or more health than you. If you draw them across your towers laterally you can kite them to death just as easily as you could when they followed you all the way in. I know kiting is a difficult concept for bots, but if the AI doesn't improve significantly on a team basis
I don't know, guys. You ask a software company to design consumer hardware solutions and you get the Xbox 360 - (which has a what, 70% failure rate within 2 years?) I like the games and I like the people who play them. But I'll probably stick to established boutique builders or build my own and leave it to SD to design what comes in the box. edit: [e digicons]:ninja:[/e] !
Thanks for pointing this out. We tracked it down, and it has been eliminated for the next version. It was actually every 30 seconds, when it performed a special synchronization with the servers. - Servo
Thanks Servo. Did the bug also account for this issue?
Guys c'mon - everyone who has played as Ashley knows her strengths are in conjuring. Best ability IMO is summoning King Frogboys but she has access to CariElves, Gunslingers, Island Dogs, etc. Better minions than any other general, afaik

I have some questions for all you technical testers or benevolent devs out there. 1. Do the same abilities stack? If I use Ub's Spit and then renew my cooldown to use it again before the first DoT expires does the damage stack? What about if two players are UB and use Spit at the same time. Do both DoTs proc? (you see slow effects replace when the same, not stack, does this also apply?) 2. Do the same auras stack? Will two UBs us
