"needs the card realy to be charged when pro-ordering or is it ok if its charged when the money will be taken from my card? (both times it was and will be, just interested fot the other guy)" Your card is charged once, when the Beta is actually available to you for download. It isn't charged at pre-order unless you have special circumstances like The1Aaron "But i still got no serial key. Do i get the serial key today?" Yes "I paid already for beta1 I

I'm going to have to join the "6 hours of playtime a week" Clan, lol Sigh.... The benefits of having a job and girlfriend and activities far outway the downside, but sometimes I miss the 3 am hungover pizza-fueled gaming sessions...

Heavy Cruisers (HC) are the top direct-fire ships in the game, so you aren't really going to be able to counter them with lower-tech ships unless you have alot lot more of them. Like alot... Against a fleet of heavy cruisers with repair I would probably build a bunch of carriers/bombers. Send your carriers running around the gravwell to kite the heavies and focus your bombers on the Hoshis (repair) first, then the HC. Any other ships you have should focus on other sh

I hear you, Mumblefratz, but I tend to approach it from a different perspective - If I am going to spend money to have someone else build my PC then I will pay slightly more to make sure that 1. The workmanship is decent 2. The support is there even after I make the purchase If I were Thrawn and had scrimped and slaved to get my $1,000.00 I'd do the research and build my own rig, because when all the other Boutique shops are charging a 15%-20% premium

As it stands now the flag system is pretty simple (and maybe that's ok.) If I capture a goldmine flag then my team gets that gold, and your team doesn't. Everyone on both teams knows when a flag has been capped, and you don't have to worry about the resources or buffs it gives you because they are showing up right there on your counters. You play Sins, right? Imagine that trade routes didn't require trade ships, you could just set up your trade ports, ring them with
All I'm trying to say is that generals will need micro. There's no doubt about that. Thus, that gives something pros can excel at. Consequently, Assassins will also need some sort of skill requirement so the player can directly affect the demigod's effectiveness.
This is a good point, and probably bears into why it's taken as long as it has to see generals.
Alternatively they could give the assassins something only they possess, something which is based a

Orleans, bro, relaaax [e digicons]8|[/e] Costs us nothing to answer a question or two. Reading between the lines - Persistent items will follow the Team Fortress Two model. They allow new abilities and buffs but are carefully balanced so that my first hour as a Heavy I can completely destroy your 1000 hour Pyro. As Trigeminal says, persistent items are are point-based, and should not represent a ceiling to play. In tournament play I

yah, you'll see in online play that everyone has a cap ship first thing...In fact, alot of games end when that free cap is destroyed by one side or the other, because the next one costs too much and losing your 1st cap can often put you too far behind to catch up. You should see your expansion really speed up when you start building a cap first thing

hi XaviorFist, A few things to start well: All of this is happening at the same time, basically as soon as the game loads... I like to build my capital ship factory first thing, as you get a free capital ship. I usually go for the colonizing cap, which is really helpful at getting planets quickly. Make sure you kill any siege ships before you colonize, but you can finish off the rest of the militia after you colonize, since they will focus on your cap and c
I mean I know there are going to be a lot of items and spells but I would just like to see positioning of your demigod play more of a role in how well you do instead of face to face combat maybe some way to ambush more because it is possible now but hard.
I agree. I should be able to play the biggest, slowest demigod and still be able to ambush, please.
I wondered if GPG and Stardock would be willing to sponsor on going ranked Demigod tournments like Cal does. The Cal system basically advances players through a tiered system, where the finalists and best players of the first tournaments are invited to a higher level tournament.
If the devs are looking to make Demigod an e-sport this would be an important first step.
