I guess everyone have seen and used the Research Tree the we have right now in the Alpha. Lets talk about what is missing, what do we want added to it or how we want it to be in Design. Right now the research tree is so Basic, it looks dead with not enough research at all. How i Want it? well I love the research idea that Sins of a Solar Empire have, how to research was really good. I wrote something about Custom Meta units around march i am gonna paste it here our own Meta-units Formations Rule Lets say me as a player that i want to go crazy in the game with my Units but i don't like the Default Rules for the Meta-units, and i want to change all the formation of them, like ( making T3 units to the front, then Anti Air T2 units the middle and last get hundreds of T1 Units in the back of the form

wow its so funny to see close minded people that talk so much about how they want the game to be made at the same time so negative about AOTS. You guys should take it easy and give AOTS developers an opportunity to show us all what they have in mind for the game, like i said before. AOTS may be an awesome game the way the developers envision it, its a new kind of RTS that take things from (TA, COH, and Soase) and that for me is something really good. or AOTS

Why do you still support mantle? that's only an ATI specific API. While DX12 and Vulkan are supposed to be compatible with ATI and Nvidia, Didn't AMD say that that Mantle is already or going to be part of DX12 and Vulkan using the same API's? you cannot just move mantle into Vulkan for Ashes? Well sorry to ask but Ashes will have 2 or 3 different Graphic codes (DX12 alpha / mantle alpha / Vulkan coming soon into ashes)? Well i am just sayi

Mantle is Dead as for the name, I think Mantle is part of Directx12 and GLnext (vulkan) API's and i think both of them a nearly identical as a tech. If you read about it Win10 and DirectX 12 will be really awesome! so don't be negative about it, i think everyone should move to Directx12 (windows 10) Why? well its easy, use your same old PC and you see a jump in fps and quality of a compatible directx12 game 3x of what your are getting with directx11, is th
