nice! sorry I have no idea About modding, i can do some nice maps but that's it.
The Map Editor is not for everyone, you really need a very powerful computer with a lot of Ram to handle the maps. so i do recommend a minimum of 32GB of ram and a great video card. But the Dev's need to start Optimizing the map editor to make it better, with more options and faster.
I do see Mission 4 very easy now, so I have no idea what are you talking about Maybe its you way of game-play, you may be starting with the wrong builds.
Enabling middle sized maps on ranked games will be a great idea, its fun to have small maps with 15-20 minutes games, really fast games, but many of us will like to play ranked games with bigger maps, we can start slower, expand a little more, do more things in the game than just rushing in because there is nowhere else to go. It will be nice to have a few Dreadnoughts in the map to play with, when playing small maps you cannot easily build Dreadnoughts because by that time it will be

I think I know the Issue here Orachin , each Meta Group has a limit of units, you cannot have infinite units inside a meta-Unit. I think you can have up to 128 logistics inside each Meta-Unit. so that may be the problem that you are having.
