I'm sorry you've had to deal with this. We'll look into the situation.

Thanks for the feedback Thevenin. Unfortunately I haven't been able to duplicate this behavior. If you encounter it again, could you take a screenshot and let us know?
Jupiter’s Forge is the first major expansion to Offworld Trading Company and it certainly wouldn’t be complete without additions to the campaign. Io has come to OTC,
Most likely what's happening is there is a building you own but aren't producing the resources to keep online. In this case the "auto-supply" option will have the building automatically purchase the resources it needs. This option can be enabled/disabled by building type in game and as a player option out of game.
The Nomads of the Penrose Collective aren’t the only ones throwing their hats into the ring. With them comes the Diadem Trust, known quite simply as the Elites. Led by Philippa Ndiaye, this faction is not looking to be sneaky, crafty, or clever. Their plan is to overwhelm to competition with the raw strength of their corporate empire. Every last bonus the Trust brings with them comes from their superior advanced buildings. Some of these bonuses are straightforward, and easily ex
The promise of a new theater of capitalism has brought new competitors with it. The first of these is The Penrose Collective (also known as "Nomads"), a ragtag communi
Hello everyone, and welcome to another Dev Journal. Jupiter’s Forge development continues, but this week we’re going to take a break from talking about it. This is because we’ve seen many returning players coming back to OTC, and given that we’ve just celebrated Offworld’s first anniversary this past week it seemed like a good to time to catch them up on some of the major changes we’ve seen this year. Last week we covered what’s available (and not available) on the surface of Io. The schedule says this week we’re going to have a special journal entry for OTC’s anniversary. That’s still coming in a couple of days, but for now we’re going to talk about all the new buildings available on Io and how you can use them to survive on this truly barren rock. [[..]] <p align="ce
Hello everyone, and welcome to our second dev journal about Jupiter’s Forge. Today we’re going to begin digging into the meat of the upcoming Offworld expansion, starting with the most obvious place, Io itself. As we talked about last week, Io is not a pleasant place to be. A good look at the moon’s surface should reveal why. Immediately alarming is the fact that Io is covered in lava flows and volcanic pits. However, most of this lava is composed of basalt. This is
We’ve built a new home on Mars. It hasn’t been easy, it hasn’t been simple, and it hasn’t been safe. But for those with the will and cunning, it has been profitable. From Mars we went to Ceres, and created a refuge for belters across the system. Completely devoid of atmosphere and with a scarcity of resources that made Mars seem plentiful, Ceres w
Recently the “The Patron and the Patriot” DLC was released for Offworld Trading Company. This DLC focuses on revamping the OTC campaign, specifically aiming to add story elements and new game mechanics focused on increasing replayability. But before we get into the DLC we need to discuss what the campaign actually is, so that’s what we’ll be doing today. Offworld was designed for quick, competitive games. Companies rise and fall in a matter of minutes, and most
Continuing the look back through OTC’s development, today we’ll be focusing on the Black Market. The Black Market is a very familiar mechanic to anyone who’s played OTC for more than a couple hours. This is the tool that player’s have to directly and immediately interact with their opponents, by blowing up their key structures, disabling large sections of their headquarters, or sweeping all of their resources out of the sky. That’s why it might be surprising to learn that the Black Ma
Seven weeks is currently the only option. But to quote Soren, "Stay tuned!"
For those who don’t know, Offworld Trading Company came to Early Access on Steam back in February 2015. Immediately developers and community started working together to make the game the best it could be. Part of this process was making sure the community always had a good idea of what was coming next to OTC. Ever since release almost 6 months ago, finding information about what’s on the horizon has become more difficult for our players. The primary goal of this diary will be to m
Agreed with blues. Adding something like a 10 second defended status seems like it would be beneficial for the core sample. That item is already underused as it is.
It's worth noting that Quill18 will be streaming tomorrow starting at 1pm EDT. So if we don't fill that gap, that's kind of okay, though it would certainly be good to for someone to be streaming before he wraps things up. I can probably just keep a stream going during that time tomorrow, then hand off to Yerand after.
Bracket: http://challonge.com/iseonthn Schedule your matches here. Feel free to also ask for streaming/commentary for the match here. The first round of games start April 28th 1pm EDT and must be completed by Sunday, May 1st 11pm EDT.
Alright, I'm going to stop accepting tournament entries at this point. We have our 16. Bracket will be up tonight, I'll post the challonge link when it's up for people to do predictions. Tournament will begin once OTC has released.
popsursocks, I do not believe adjusting the combination of buttons + mouse to auto-sell is an option. The only option in the hotkeys section is the "toggle selected auto-sell" which is different from the ctrl+shift+click toggle and works for me just fine. Now, if you want to be able to change how ctrl, shift, alt + click work, that's something certainly worth leaving feedback about.
I'll fill in gaps where I'm needed. Just let me know.
We are announcing the Ninth Offworld Tournament! Here are the rules: The tournament uses a single-elimination bracket of 16 players. All tournament matches are 1v1 on a small map, with default settings on than Reveal Map which should be toggled on. Games must be played on the live version. The format for winning is best-of-3, except for the finals, which
I knew this would happen when I started another Guru run.
Thanks guys. 2 and 3 were addressed earlier today. Can't speak to when it will be fixed on next_version, but it's on the way.
Thanks Soren, is there a possibility to resume the campaign now? Actually it is not possible only a new campaign is shown. Cheers, Daniel
Next version updates pretty frequently, usually these updates invalidate previous campaign saves.
Game is game. Not reality. Stable prices would be exceedingly dull. As it is, a standard game only lasts about 20-30 (as intended). Not enough time for prices to adjust if they didn't change rapidly and easily. No rapid changing prices = no decisions to make. No decisions to make = bad game.
