derek, regarding the ongoing issues regarding the tactical map move visibility issue (ie at present it is hard to bloody impossible to see the valid move areas(and I have a fairly good range colour vision)), the simplest suggestion I can make is to 'invert' (ie change the sign of each of the three colour numbers (red, green & blue)) this would put a light outline on dark squares and a dark outline on light squares as well as it beig a high contrast colour difference that most visio

the best advice I could give is to go to the motherboard maufacturer's website and check the motherboard manual. the best ways to find the motherboard brand and model is 1 open the case and look at the motherboard (largest board in the case) for the brand and model, or 2 download and install CPUZ, then run CPUZ, click on the motherboard tab, and note the brand and model, or IF you have an itemised invoice from the computer build(assuming it was a cust

just about ANY of the pciexpress low profile vga cards should be a significant improvement eg an ati 5450 or geforce 620 would be suitable and give the entire system a boost due to the shared ram buss effect for the onboard videos. harpo

most of the water cooling systems are completly sealed, BUT if they spring a leak YOU lose the computer as the water tends to short out and corrode most materials used in computers -... ..- -- .--. a fully multithreaded (at least four threads, perhaps 1 thread per player/ai )64 bit exe with full ram availability, and also textures and scaling specified in the entities (planets and ships especially),the galaxy files able to specify resource asteroid

assuming you REGISTERED your eWOM(the only elemental that HAS or HAD a retail box(dvd case)), you should be able to log into the download page( https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products ) with the email address you registered the game with and your stardock password, and on the download page you should either see the serial numbers for your stardock purchases OR a show Serial Number

I also can not see anything other than the filedropper upload page from the link at the bottom of the OP. my guess would be either 1)filedropper DROPPED the file or 2) there is a filename changed update and the old file version was intentionally deleted, but my suspect is #1 harpo

yupa59, you would have to add the extra entity files to the entity.manifest, and add the entity's to the relevent playerRACE.entity and do NOT forget to adjust the counts in the manifest and playerRACE.entity. harpo

I also back teun-aroonius & rovert10's comments as the engine NEEDS more Ghz and only ONE cpu core with FAST(the faster annd lower latency the better) RAM and a seperate video card(this it to free up the ram access that the onboard graphics GRAB (approx half the memory bandwidth)). from my own testing of performance of sins relating to cpu ghz ram ghz the nett result is 3.5+ghz single core with low latency high ghz speed ram will give GOOD sins performance. hope this h
considering there are no boats/naval units in the base game, this small island scenario had better be a scenario
but there are the earth3 spells raise land and lower land in the base game, so might not NEED to be a scenario. harpo

I have used previous beta and preview MS OS before on low use machines in my network of 20 and had the nagging & reboot hourly, so it would be a reasonable assumption that MS will do it again, and yes it IS irritating, BUT I remember seeing somewhere that a w7 key could be used on w8, it might be worth testing this. harpo
