The 4 unclaimed and the Monta Clan, that'd be a no, but it'd be nice to have a lore post with those systems in it to coincide with a posting of them in this thread, even if it's just scouts running through the systems detailing what's there for possible allies / enemies / operation expansion etc. Pictures are in the lore if you've got the time to hunt them down, galaxy files are here even thought they're not very useful when combining maps. Those worries were asked, considered, addressed, and put aside by me before the big map was even created. The plan is to break everything up based on the constellation (most likely) or political region (less likely) maps once all of the systems are explored and set. For now, each newly explored system gets added to the big map. Plus there's also the individual maps that I create if a system can support more then a single player such as Finley and/or Antynene, or if they can'
How do you know that they're carrying more then they can hold? You're probably not expecting this, but being a DS lore writer with my focus being on the trade aspect of the game, I've actually put some thought into this whole issue of how much a trade ship can carry, and quantified it to real world amounts even if I don't necessarily follow those amounts in the lore, so here's my thoughts on all of that stuff. Taken straight from the string file for the Matter Compressor Artifac
That, I can't answer that off the top of my head, but in an effort to not stop progress while waiting for an answer, remove the effect and try it. If the crashing stops then the answer is yes, if they continue, then there's something else causing problems. A good way to go about modding when you don't know what's going on is to go back to the working version and change 1 file at a time. When you hit on one that isn't working, change that one file 1 line at a time until you
Attach a file? So you know it's one of the files you modified, then fixing should be relatively easy. Compare the files with the originals. Figuring out which ones you changed should be as simple as sorting your files by date, the newly changed ones will all group together. http://www.comparemyfiles.com/ is a free online comparing tool. Put both files in, yours and the original and have it match
Make sure your settings are turned down if you haven't done that yet, and run the Dev.exe to play the game. You'll lose all of your personal things like player name and color, graphics settings and all that but who cares. Just jump back into the options and change them again. The advantage is that you'll get to see errors as they happen while the game is playing and it could help you narrow down the cause rather then just swinging blind. Like Harpo sai
you are trying to run the original version of the Mod, sadly we have not updated that yet (Stant123 is working on it) so why not attempt to get the expansions and then you can use our mods with ease
Yeah, but I don't think that's it. He's running version 1.18 of vanilla Sins on XP from the look of the directory structure, and then trying to activate DS 1.01 for Vanilla Sins which should work. If it was full
Banned because I like blowing shit up. Delayed ban because I should have had this in my last comment.
Banned because you're the one that took the class, not me. I'm a natural. I refined my skills by flirting with girls and asking them if they can cook and arranging an evening to cook together. Also a good way to end up getting laid due to the fact kitchens are typically hot when you're cooking so clothing get's loosened and they're confined so you bump into each other a lot and playful touching is always good. Banned because you think it's for only 30 to 45 minutes o
Banned because I'm still waiting for an answer on wtf this is supposed to mean.
Banned because I didn't mean become a carbon copy, just the whole "Going to extremes to get laid" thing. Xer0 \^/
Another one huh? You're the 4th or 5th person I know of that's 'helped' in this manner. I applaud your efforts, but this doesn't fix anything, not how you're representing it anyway. It also appears that you've been seriously misinformed or totally misunderstanding what's going on, not only with LAA but the issue with Sins crashing and virtual memory in the Windows environment... Basically, everything you're talking about. I'll lay down some education for you and
You're one of the few that doesn't take anything I say personally and fight back trying to be more insulting or pretentious but usually ends up sounding like a tool in the process, which is pretty much like begging me to open the wound more, pour in a nice salt and alcohol mixture, and briskly rub it in with 60 grit sand paper. Friends insult each other all of the time and I'm friends with everyone here... They just don't know it or refuse to acknowledge it.
Hahaha. No worries. We only did that because Ryat isn't here.
Banned because you copied the previous ban.
(Distant Stars) At the Finley star it's been just over an hour since Zinc had arrived. The probes Tim requested had all been launched and pointed at the Afradas system. On the sensor logs it looked like dozens of very chatty ships made the jump. On the other side, the probes were programmed to stop broadcasting and crash into the star. As each probe lined up, they fired their drives one last time and sent back a pair of coded beeps to sign
banned because I still want to know.
banned for crazie Wtf do mean by going to extremes to get laid? I really do want to know.
Banned for no other reason then I'm mad that I walked away from a fight I knew I could win and you just happened to be the one who most recently posted.
Yeah... You say that now. =] Though I am curious to know more about the fix you have in mind, especially if it's not something that's been tried before.
say it to my face.
In your case, it's really more because you're experiencing hardware limitations forcing you to use lower settings before you're hitting the software limitations that result in crashes. If you were able to play on high or highest, I can assure you, you'd smack into the wall just like everyone else who is using those settings.
So I'm digging through the files for DS prepping for work on more updates to the vanilla version and I open up the one that states the population loss for the planets that get shelled by a Novalith. Now I've always assumed the loss was permanent since I've never really paid much attention to a planet that's been hit 3 times creating a 0 max population cap, so I stopped building them because what's the point? I want those planets, shelling them to 0 pop makes them worthless to me u

Banned because I've never said I was in my forties. There may have been mention of drinkin' forties, but that's an entirely different conversation.
I was having a conversation with a kid once who said nearly that exact same comment, but due to the typo of two d's instead of one, his intent sounded something like Syneptus's "It's small but I like it." =]
