I'm going to say it's definitely a RAM issue (at this point in time with the new information), with only 2Gigs on your system, your OS chews up close to a gig, and everything else you have running like a firewall, antivirus, etc, chews up even more drastically limiting the amount you have available to use. If you see a bunch of folders like GameInfo, Particles, sound, string, etc., create a folder in your mod folder that says Maelstrom or something to that effect and put all of those folders into it. Run your game and you should only see one thing, enable, play and enjoy.
