Will we be able to chose or customize how are cities and building look? Or will they just simply be assigned buy what faction you are. I personally want to be able to chose what my forts and cities look like reguardless of faction. Example(Lord of the Rings, sorry) Say I am Mordor yet I Fancy the style of Gondors buildings, therefore I should be able to emulate that despite faction. Or Simply Reverse that I am Gondor and like Mordors building style. Your thoughts?

I am not really a fan of this other world stuff and these waygates. But thats just me. I myself would prefder that the game have one "universe" so to speak. Not saying your idea is bad but its a bit too far fetched for me, though I also know that a tunneling system for cities in real life is also not as practical either. But still sounds more plausible than waygates. Also how do you counter this tactic? With tunnels all you have to do is find the
I actually like the idea of having a tunneling system that can connect your cities at great cost however.(to allow supplies and commerce during a seige.) And this needs its own thread. If such a thing is implented for balancing reasns shards should not be able to be transported underground.
I refuse to use such noble animals as the bear for plows, carts or chariots! Are you insane?!
LOL if your people worshipped bears using them for ANY reason would be a sin so have no fear.
Unacceptable LOL real "men" should be able to get them. And since spiders and scorpions are fairly mindless(but not completely) one could use a spell to control and tame them. I want to be a good guy with my army of scorpions and spiders LOL
I like the game play art (the map screen is excellent but these two shots here has me put off. This is the excellent map: https://www.elementalgame.com/Screenshots/Empire_Cloth_City_1280.jpg https://www.elementalgame.com/Screenshots/Kingdom_City_Select_1280.jpg <a href="https://www.elementalgame.com/Scre
I for one welcome our new machine overlords. Someone should make a bot and name it Omnius LOL :D As for the beta and preorders I think its fine what they are doing. After all I dont think its fair that people who preorder right before the beta is released should be favored over people who preordered weeks or even months in advance.
I MUST have my army of giant scorpion riders and spider riders! http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/battleformiddleearth2/video/6130945 Best shots at 1:24 and 1:50 And I dont want to be goblins in order to have my giant arachinid army. :P
Quoting Nights Edge, reply 12 I think part of the thing with having the shards immovable is as an anti-turtling measure. You force players to come out of their shell and compete for limited resources. I hope it will be possible to turtle. I hate it when games try to force you to go out and be aggressive. Sometimes I want to play aggressive, sometimes I want to be isolationist and defensive, let me
But thats not the point. The Point is that they will active there special ability while there are on a movecommando. Why the shouldt activate a feature thats for fight and not for move ?That's why I never ever research that ability. Especially not since it is enabled by default on freshly built ships. And if I have multiple factories pumping, I just don't have the time to manually disable it on every ship.
You dont need

It would be really cool to not only start with no planet but heavily damaged ships, at least for the "aliens" as that would add an element of "canon" to them for a certain senario.
This is great please keep it going! I am excited for the next installment!
I would accept that challenge LOL and then procede to bring that empire back from ruin. Its fun at least in my opinion to do stuff like that.
I LOVE the Vulkoras class ship. Not only is it the BEST looking capital ship it also also a nasty opponent. Its something I generally take out before anything else, and since its my fave ship I tend to have lots and a group of six of them fully upgraded is nothing to laugh at. Coupled with the space egg and a carrier with the repair ability you have a fleet of awesomeness that cant be denied in looks and functionality.
Yes for single player LOL after all it would be bad to switch in multiplayer LOL
One of the things that I think would be cool is the ability at certain points in the game be able to switch and play the other faction, while the AI takes your former faction. Example you are the "Men" And you have defeated the Fallen to the point where they are on the verge of collapse. Well it would be awesome if you could "change teams mid game/during game" And then you could play as the fallen and try to rebuild the empire. ANd fend off the men, the odds would be stacked but I lik
I SO agree with this idea, it would be awesome ransack an emenies city and take their good, also looting the dead from their armies is awesome as well! I hope this gets implemented.
Oh this is a turn based game, not a real time strategy game? Well I suppose you can always make it to have one semi near... I still think it would be cool, but I dont really like the idea of a city rising up out of land due to a spell you cast.
I did not say just because your evil, it all depends on your empires values, which as the channeler I assume you have control of, so if your evil yet value your woodlands then thus you would be able to keep them. There would be nothing preventing a "good side empier" from turning their lands into a volcanic/industrial wasteland if they want too. Its dicated on the choices you as the ruler makes, and the values you and your subjects have.(Not wether your good or evil.) I
Well I am out the 40 some dollars the game costs LOL
I think it would be awesome if thew landscape was dictated by your empires value system and how they treat it. Meaning if you value your enviroment ther land in your empires borders will turn lush and productive, basically a paradise that is unspoiled. However if your empire values industry over the enviroment or is an evil empire your lands will turn into a blasted wasteland, and the closer to your capital the more intense the effect(For both good an evil) There should also be an intermidiet
Given what I read from the Lore section I think it would be really cool, if all you started with was your character. Then you need to journey and look for a scattered human settlement and see if you can covert them to your cause.(Some may want a ruler others may not) I really dont think you should start with a small settlement immidetly. Its best in my opinion if you have to find one, as you cant make something like that from nothing. Also it allows you to TRUELY build your empir
I like the idea of having a single keep/castle/fortress where you can be reincarnated however for game play purposes it should only be limited to ONE per faction and any one time, this prevents spamming them. I also like the idea of having very loyal subjects use a summoning cerimony involving essiance to bring you back. Above all I think the reincartion thing needs to be a LONG, hard drawn out process. If your/enemy avatar does die, I think your empire should just go neutral
Well I for one want to be able to have control of various animals. I dream of leading my loyal army of giant insects to glory :D Also wolves, and other predatory animals would be awesome units. Here is a basic list of units i want to see. Giant Scorpion Giant spider Giant centipede Semi large spiders, scorpions, and centipedes afterall swarming an enemy fortrress through sheer numbers is very coll looking Wolves Giant reptiles(Not really
