what always gets me is the holier-than-thou attitude of people who have done something on the net for free. they ran a server for free. they let people dl files for free. they streamed this or that for free. so what? open a restaurant and give the food away for free, and i'll be happy to write a letter to the pope asking for your sainthood. until then, put it in perspective.

with a wallpaper, no. we try to only put on the best stuff, since wallpapers are such a high upload item [for one thing.] with other skins, yes. it might get a low rating, but as long as it works and it doesn't break any 'rules' we'll generally put it up.

ok, yeah the mod rating counts as one. also, if the posting author has high enough access the skin gets upped automatically. now, in that case.. hmm.. not sure if that gets counted or not..

paxx: most weren't making money anyway.. i used to be a dj. not only do radio station not have to pay the per play royalty, they don't have to pay it per capita. -that- requirement is just preposterous. the -only- reason it's in there is because it can be.. radio has no way of determining exactly how many listeners they have, but the net streamers do - so they use it against them. the rules should be the same for radio and net radio. this is one rare case where the oh-so-p

hahaha.. i don't know paul, some of gaudi's stuff is pretty neat. of course, i'm a big hp lovecraft fan. i don't know if i'd really want to live in it though.. kind of like some of roger dean's arch. stuff, it's cool to see but i really wouldn't want to live in it.
