always keep in mind, the best way to get software developers to speed up progress or add more features is to yell at them kind of like tailgating someone who's driving slow. it always works great for making them go faster, doesn't it?
wow.. i just read amazing spiderman online.. i guess they re-started the title or something.. i didn't know it stopped, but the last time i read it, it was 330 something, and now it's like issue 38.. anton - you may well have something else going on in your system.. it might help your computer a lot overall to make a list of all the things you're generally running, being sure not to forget ie add-ons, and send it to [email protected] the classic way to find the -real- cause of something like what you experienced is to set everything to not load on boot, then quit out of anything that doesn't cover in your systray. then add wb, then add dx. see where you start lagging by keepin
hmmm... not sure. i'll second the font idea. probably a different size of the one seen, but not included in the font you have on your machine. look in the theme and see what font it's looking for, then check out some font sites to dl it.

hmmm.. i get a 404 on it.. a couple years ago i made several desktops that were like what this sounds like, though. no icons, not even trash. little places around on the wallpaper, either labeled or not, were hotspots to activate certain things. i don't remember them all, but i know i made some out of several of tech-13's old wallpapers. i also used the wallpaper dangeruss made out of the pixel industries site http://www.pixel-industries.com/index2.html for example, i'd clic

w2k will show 32bit icons fine.. it would take some reg work to make it show any sizes other than standard though. you just have to find the icons you'd like, and make sure you've got the usual icon settings in the sytem maxed out.
