elvee,It's up!!!And it looks sooooo good!!WOW,How do you do that??And since we have spoken,it's like they heard us.There have been more New Add. in the last 15-20 minutes than in the last 4 days!!!
brazil
Yeah,I've been missing it bad.And it seems to be getting slower and slower to me.I am sorry for detracting from your original thread.Maybe the problems/symptoms are related,,I dunno. We will be looking forward to yer new WinStyle though.
I will try that, have your newest add. been changing much lately?
I meant ta say Newest Additions instead of updated section. To clarify,I no longer can see the updated section and the newest additions has been almost the same for 3 or 4 daze,I am bored and tired of waitin for things to load.
hey elvee,I haven't seen that one exactly but I am having my own issues with it.I can no longer see updated skins on the browser, featured downloads trys to refresh everytime I click it,it seems like the updated section is going at a snails pace along with the browser throughout the day.It has become a chore. It no longer flys thru the site, and I got some serious speed,it drags everywhere. This barrage of new browsers has not increased my speed at all,I am much slower than before and have much less
There is a fantasic film on the subject called " It's the Rage ".A very good and thought provoking movie.I think it would be a good idea to fly drones to gather info. Also I remember some technology that helped the LAPD locate where a gun was fired with amazing results,,I dunno but this has to stop,,at any cost I think. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powere
Dude,,,Plleeeaaaasssse!!!!!
Freakin A holmes!!
Fuzzy, mine has been working ok too.Minus the very very slow message boards.I have no idea what could be going wrong with your new browser.I'm glad you got RC1 though!!I thought, as I looked at 1.0, that I'm not having any trouble now, and no listed improvements are displayed,,why do I want this??For what it's worth,,I see no difference at all in the last 3 browser releases. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/sm
Durn Fuzzy, that sucks.I forgot about that damn serial # or I would email you one of mine,,seeing how Stardock is putting them out like every other day now,I am tired of installing them. And the trouble that usually follows. Is the Internet working for you otherwise??
All I can do LG is point ya to my site, www.screaminmoon.com ,then look to the bottom of the page and click the Jukes link.Contact him thru his site.He is very good and usually will help anyone who needs it.
Fuzzy, there have been some posts lately about things being freaky right now.I'm wondering if this has anything ta do with your problem.Do you still have an earlier version on your machine??
I wonder where all the super geeks are today??BoXXi,please stop by my site sometime, www.screaminmoon.com.We would like you to hear our music.I am going to the gym and will ask my computer freak basketball buddy what he thinks.I still think its that damn USB cable.Really do need some new BoXXi here.Better tell your cable co we are startin to freak out over here, you teased us yesterday and I blame the whole thing on them. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN
Are you using a Stardock related program to upload??If so be sure to check the settings there as well.I dunno B,I feel your frustration though, supposed to get a better connection and wind up with problems ya didn't have before.Your cable co should help you fix this.
BoXXi,From the soundz of things,I think you need a shorter run from modem to machine. And call cable co and tell them your situation. That is, you got some clients in America that need your work and it must be fixed as soon as possible. From IE go to file then tools then internet options, then connection just to have a look-see. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Power
upload speed is not good.download speed is about all DSL is gonna do for you.I am betting your problem is in the long cable. Are the settings that you use to upload your work still set for dial-up by chance??
Kinrik, you are correct.USB becomes unstable in 5 to 7 feet for high speed data transfer.Uploads for sure will suffer.
The typical USB plug-in is usually not very tight.Lets try to focus on a shorter run to your modem and maybe call your cable co and tell them it must work.Is there any cable modem providers instead of DSL for you?Thats the reason I have a spare DSL modem.I did not like DSL at all.Cable modem smokes it like shawgg. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinB
Yes,USB cables come in many lengths.I am assuming this is what kind of cable you are using.Did your cable company come to your house to help you set this modem/tv-converter box up??Mine,Comcast, will come back as many times as it takes to get you on the highway. Will yours help you in this way??Is this the same computer you were using with your dial-up modem? If so there may be some settings that are still set to dial-up instead of LAN.As far as the understanding why your stuff, uploaded,is bad and
BoXXi,Yes the length of a USB cable could very well be your trouble. Can your cable company look at your modem from thier veiw-point and tell you if they see any noise or interference in your line??I am in Arkansas,USA and no amount of money or distance should keep your art out of circulation. For me,you are one of the best and I feel like we must get you sorted. Is your machine a late model??Can it handle high speed data transfer? If the cable you are refering to,running around your room,is a USB c
ed,have you opened Logon Studio to set up yer options??Your downloaded screens should be displayed there, then either choose the one ya want or have it randomize your selections,
BoXXi.Keep an eye on that USB connection. What brand of device/modem are you using??Isn't it a combo cable/modem box??If you have any way of trying a different connection i.e. card or ethernet you might try that.Your cable company should be able to see your modem and potential problems with lines or hook-ups.I have a Westel DSL modem I am not using.Let me know if you would like to try it. <img src="http://images.stardock
Boris,Jafo is correct,, un-check the XP-Specific box .Hope that helps,,,,
Indeed,OB has some fantastic choices!!I think you would really dig the whole thing,ObjectDesktop. It is endless fun!!Keep an eye on yer task mangr,,some of the bars run a bit heavy.
JB.ObjectBar takes a bit of customizing and trial and error.I choose ta bypass OB,it runs heavy on my system.I thought you were having trouble getting WB ta skin yer start menu,,sorry for the confusion-
