I've had issues too in DX12 mode, see the thread I started yesterday... https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/476540/page/1/# The game is fine in dx11...... Tried DX12 on my desktop computer with GTX970 and its fine, just my laptop in dx12 mode. I know the game works on on my laptop in dx12 as this problem has only occurred with the latest build.

I've made this point quite a few times in the past, but the current zoom doesnt work too well imho. I will be using a comparison to supreme commander too, that zoom allows quick movement around the map to where many individual battles may be raging, Thats where Ashes falls down, managing different battles on the map is tricky. The strategic zoom is to clumsy and I think thats the point a few posters have tried to indicate. Looking at the devs youtube video, why not make that an op

Using the latest (364.72) I get this graphical glitch (see video below) in DX 12 mode, all previous versions of the beta have run just fine on standard settings on my laptop, i5 4210h, 12gb ram, GTX 860m gpu. DX12 mode is pretty unplayable.... DX11 runs just fine, no glitches, as does DX12 in a window. DX12 Full screen or in boarderless window glitches I've yet to try the latest version on my desktop (GTX 970) and will update the post later this evening...</

I've played many RTS games over the decades and when zoom is lacking, keys were used to scroll the screen around. Having the ability to reconfigure the keys would be the easiest solution and I'd agree that wasd is a good choice fore some users. By far the most efficient way I've found to navigate large maps in Rts games was in supreme commander. I'm seeing a huge drop in performance at standard settings, since 0.7. Running a GTX 950, core i54670, 16gb ram, was on around 29 fps average, down to around 17, will post picture later...

I did some benchmarking on my computer last night, on the new 0.7 update and performance seems to have dropped somewhat in dx12 mode. I was able to hit an average of almost 28fps at standard settings, however now i'm around the 17fps mark. I have a Core i54670, 16gb ram, and a GTX 950, not top of the range, but I'm curious is others have seen this drop in performance?

Seems that there is an issue using OBS to stream the game id DX12 mode, no matter what method I use to capture the screen, I just get a black display on OBS. DX11 is fine. I've tried 2 different computers, one using a GTX 950, the other a GTX 860m. I'm not sure if this is an OBS or Ashes issue as there are very few DX12 games to test with! Anyone else had this problem?

The zoom level as shown in the benchmark demo in the game would be nice, seems to zoom much further out than the game currently does, although i've only played briefly since the last update....

It's working in dx12 after the update!! Some graphical glitches, will take a look tonight. One thing I did notice is that I couldn't start a multiplayer game in dx12 mode, it's not supported yet? Will try single player tonight!!

Cool, but cannot see a mention of the bug that allows you to instantly produce units in a game.... Seems to occur very often now and really affects gameplay badly, with regards to play testing the game.... I posted in the Bug's section a few weeks ago about the issue....

Thanks, worked this out!! on the instant units bug, an update. It also seems to be triggered once you have aquired around 3 resource extractors. played a 2 player game yesterday, the bug appeared for me first, but my friend continued the game with normal resources and unit production. once the bug occurred, unit and buildings can be created instantly, no resource collection is necessary, it is stuck at -1 for both, regardless of resource points ow
