Okay we had this before but there are 2 things which are really not fun in skirmish / pantheon. 1) AIs in the game, I don't think I speak for a minority here when I say that people who click on the multiplayer button want to play vs human opponents not vs AIs. In the current moment there are 30 Pantheon and 8 Instant action matches going on, probably any of them has an AI in. having only 15 Pantheon matches and 4 Instant action matches going on would probably a lot more fun for at lea

this also only affects the "pantheon" game mode in skirmish and custom games you can pick whichever Demigod you like.

Regulus is probably one of the easier to play Demigod and if you are the better player you can dominate easily with him but in an even match he was not really overpowered during Beta. As I don't have the release version yet, I can't really say anything about the balance on release but from the notes he didn't get any buffs. The General were a tiny to bit underpowered during beta but with the improvements for them in the release version they should be on par. However the generals take a

some retailers sell games earlier then they are supposed to be. You probably will be able to play the singleplayer but I wouldn't be suprised if your CD-Key is not valid yet - maybe it is though.

Would it be possible to get Stats per Country (or even on state(equivalent)-level?). I'd really like to map the Data. Being able to visualize Data like "Most played Demigods per Country" - "Average players per game per country" - "Winratio per Country" - "Matches per Day per Country" - "Location of the Top 100 players" would be incredibly cool. Given access to the Data I could quickly automatize the map generation using a software a few friends and myself are nearly finished developin

People who play Demigod at a LAN are people who like Multiplayer probably so chances are high that if they like it they will buy it for the multiplayer as thats it where Demigod is really fun, and if they didn't like it they won't but it anyways.
Hopefully modding will be do-able in the retail versoin. But doesnt it give you an unfair advantage if you can see more stats than your enemy because of a mod? (if your playing online).
Yah it does, thats why UI mods shouldn't be allowed but general mod support (mod being active for everyone then) would be great.

I actually like the guildwars approach where you see the english name of skills and items when you press the right ctrl button.

Frogboy would it be possible to get the dg_loc_v0.1.xls file which is mentioned at the beginning of the strings_db.lua file: # autogenerated file - DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES # USE dg_loc_v0.1.xls INSTEAD TO EDIT STRINGS for now we copy the stuff out of the strings_db.lua file and translate it but I guess it would be a lot easier to translate and to later implement if we could do it in the excel file.

starcraft doesn't really have rps balancing, hydralisks usually suck vs marine and medics but in some situations they are awesome, Dragoons usually sucks vs Zerglings but in some situations they are totally awesome - it all depends on the situation for almost every unit and unit combo in starcraft thats why it is so cool. Wouldn't really call that rps balancing.

Rook has the problem that most other languages just use the same word for the chess piece as for the tower of a castle which takes away all the fun from the name and just sounds odd.

the ESL is not a european league, although it is true that there focus lies on europe still. But just to give you one example of a worldwide tournament : http://www.esl.eu/eu/ems/season4/scbw/news/83824/ . Canada, USA and Chile aren't European countries last I checked. I understand you have strong feelings against the ESL but I think internal solutions are a lot more work and when it involves money prizes there is lots of legal stuff to deal with, that would be covered by the ESL if the
