If you give the generals more money in the start like lets say 1500 instead of the 1000 they would buy their assassin ally one of the very nice 1500 gold items which totally changes the early game - Regulus with wyrmskin gloves or ring of nature or even both when you do a 3vs3 and have 2 generals 1 Assassin. As Sedna/QoT you can hold your ground without an item in the beginning. And yes the balance of Demigod is very fragile, most games have a very fragile balance, one change at the wrong spo

If a player solo captures a flag he gets 100 xp. If a group of 2-5 Demigods captures a flag everyone gets 100 xp. Imagine a scenario where Player A captures a flag alone and then loses it to a crowd of three players and then captures it again etc. Now Player A gets for example 800 xp from flag captures and so does the other team, Player A's team allies however get 0 Xp from flag captures. That means staying together is artifically rewarded while spreading out is punished. The

nah priests heal insane amounts of damage, if you remove it then they are going to be so imba. Maybe the duration of the debuff needs adjustment or the minion price but the debuff is needed if you don't want to end up with either single priests being totally senseless or priest groups being too strong.

hum actually Rook has a "G" at the end and Sedna a "A" - but for all 6 other demigods it is consistent, strange so my theory might be wrong. However the E and G at second position stands for Evil and Good definitely as this works for all 8 demigods, Oculus and Falconess have both a G and the 2 others a E , so it probably will be Oculus and one of the two evil guys - probably also means that Falconess is no general but an assassin. Want my falconess :(

the falconess is a general, back when the concept arts where still in the imagename had the same formatting as all other generals. For example HESA = Hero Good Sniper Assassin = Regulus ; HEMA = Hero Evil Mage Assassin = Torchbearer ; The Falconess had definitely a G in the end as did Oak, Oculus, Sedna, Erebus and QoT.

totem of revelation (the observer wards) are buyable in the consumable shop for 50 Zimbabwe Dollar or whatever Demigods currency is.
ok after testing it a bit more, once you sell the totem you can still summon the mini's even if u dont own the totem.
you should test a bit more carefully, it only starts the cast sequence but don't actually summon one. Its a bug more or less a UI bug.

buying all the level 1 to level 3 creeps alone and selling them again costs you 3200 (20% of the 16000 total buying cost), that is the price for 3 Supreme Combat Potions (=6750 hp) plus a universal gadget. Getting all the highest level Idols costs another 11000, so you need 14000 spare money to pull it off. That means you can only do this trick when you are a very high level. I tried this trick ages ago and it didn't work at all (even in the version where minions where really strong) , the mo
The obsession that many fans of games like Total War, Supreme Commander, DoW, etc have with strategy as the "only thing that matters" in RTS games is nothing more than a desire for the game to be more casual, for it to require less of them. If a game only needs strategy, all you have to do is learn what to do in specific situations.
No micro in SupCom - have you even played this game. My brother and myself have played both Starcraft and SupCom competively and there is

I have it too, the log shows nothing at least when I cast ring of fire (I how the flames form the circle but then they vanish - on low I don't see anything at all though) or use teleport (see the sparkles but not the whirl). I am not totally sure anymore when that started it but I think it was either beta 3 or beta 3A , before that I saw all that stuff.

neither Starcraft nor Demigod are shallow. Demigod is shallow in 1vs1 but not as teamgame - supcom really hasn't much more depth and dynamics as Demigod 3vs3 or bigger has. And Starcraft II is very different from Starcraft although it still has the same "feel" to it.
My primary belief is that abilities in general are a tad too strong, and that there is no benefit to splitting up or a drawback for piling onto the same small spot of ground in group battles.
If you don't split up you lose vs any Demigod team which knows how to play. (Prison is a bit of a special case as it is so small but even there you have to constantely split up and regroup. The drawbacks for piling onto the same small spot are that you lose map control and

was more like 2 hours after he was asked don't belittle his effort. ;) Thanks again for this proof of concept Chirmaya. @Twisted it is a simside mod so everyone has to have it or the game desyncs - that is also the reason that there is no public download link to it as Chirmaya probably don't want to disturb the beta process.

kryo, lets say a upgrade / item costs usually 6000 money, but with coin purse (reduces price by 10%) it only costs 5400. If you now have lets say 5800 gold you still can't buy it - you need 6000. But when you have 6000 money the correct price of 5400 is deducted. PS: bug seems to be fixed in newest version.

well splitting up skills in non-magical and magical isn't necessarily bad if you can keep it intuitive, but doing it for one item is.
Which skills/spells are vague? I'm sure there are a few, but your examples don't reflect that. A boulder is a boulder, wherever it came from, same with a crossbow bolt. Sure you can twist the idea with "magical" boulders or "energy" charged bolts, but only then do you start confusing a simple idea.
Snipe looks p
