Stardock recognizes that DRM only hurts sales by infuriating customers. All games are cracked, and 99.999% of those who pirate the game simply download instead of cracking it themselves. By not including DRM, they can hold onto a few more customers who would otherwise be turned off. Additionally, they know that only legitimate users will have access to the upcoming free content (at least two new demigods, with microexpansions to follow), so in the long run piracy doesn't pay.

According to Stardock, this is a side effect of an update that improved connectivity overall. They could not have predicted it, and no amount of internal testing would have revealed it. The problem will be fixed with the timing tweaks in an upcoming patch.
I play to win. I prefer opponents who also play to win. If I'm going to lose, why should I waste both my time and my opponents' by fighting a lost cause? So no, I would not be upset if my opponents quit when a win was certain. They are doing me a favor by saving me time. There is no shame in admitting defeat.
I had this happen as well. I won the game with human players in it, but Pantheon recorded me as the only player in the game, so it didn't count towards my record. One person on the opposing team did quit.
No. Citadel does 500 damage to you per attack on flag mode. You have to rely on the minions (cats/giants), but whatever you have your opponents will have too.
Jesus christ. Enough with the theorycraft.
Maybe I do have reading comprehension problems...why don't the 3 of you split and attack both of the other flags while the 3rd stays near the flag the sedna's are at? If the 3 sedna's stay in a single group they can only control one flag at a time while you can control the other 2. If they split apart, then you don't have this problem. If you tried this and it did not work, please explain what the sedna team did to be in 2 places
Bite needs a buff. It should drain 3000 health.
There is a stunning lack of reading comprehension in this thread, so I'll say this once more as clearly as I can: I do not believe Sedna is overpowered. It is only in the flag holding mode that it becomes a problem. You cannot push 2 or 3 Sednas from their position without losing the neutral flag you already own. By rotating around, the Sedna team can hold 2/3 of the neutral flags and win a war of attrition.
Oh no! A team game lets people choose their teams. Oh the imba!
Disrupt it when it tries to heal. It's not hard to guess when a Sedna will heal, once they drop below half you should already be reaching for that stun skill.
This is one of the biggest fails I've ever read. 1) The cast time on heal is faster than several of the stuns. 2) Even if it weren't, the 250 ms forced latency dramatically reduces your window of response. 3) Even if you could respond fast enough, there isn't a casting animation, so you can't tel

Their heal synchronisation would have to be amazing to withstand all 3 heroes going for one Sedna.
Not at all. It just takes the Sedna being attacked to not be an idiot and heal herself. That's enough to survive short term, then the others heal. I should clarify that the map was Cataract. By forming a group of 3, you ensure that you can onl
So the judge of a review is how it compares to every other review?
Stardock will give you a refund and eat the extra cost if you bought it from a retailer. If you want the full refund you have to go through technical support first, otherwise I think you can get a 75% refund by emailing . Stardock is cool that way [e digicons]:)[/e] .
Erebus needs a buff IMO.
They've acknowledged the problem, but last I heard they were still investigating.
You can get your clothing patch only if I can get my full nudity patch.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 11 Based on the logs, nearly everyone plays pantheon and skirmish games online, not custom games. I can't tell you why that is though. I'll tell you why, most people know that the guys starting custom games all know each other and either; A: Want to "pugstomp" B: Want to go against other teams It's not a big deal. Pantheon should r
No, I don't think Sedna is overpowered, except for this one case. It was a 3v3 Pantheon game with the flag holding objective. All 3 opponents were Sedna, and there was basically no way to force them from their position. Talk about agonizing [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] .
O' and I will say... I'm NOT in favor of the "A Surrender Button" I'm pretty much play games with the Galaxy Quests motto, "Never give up, never Surrender!"
The surrender button isn't for the losing team, it's for the winning team. If the losing team wants to quit, they just quit. You can't stop that. Now the winning team is stuck fighting the AI or leaving as well and taking a rating hit. A surrender

This is why I quit, unannounced, when I get allies who don't talk. It's better for everyone that way. I get less frustrated and save time on an autolose, and my opponents get a faster win by fighting an incompetent AI instead of a human.
For QoT, I'd gladly trade bubble spam for a more engaging activity.
Frogboy, I know connectivity takes priority, but do you have an update on the move order bug? When you cast a spell, occasionally your Demigod refuses to do anything more until he moves. He will just sit there and autoattack anything nearby, but unless you move first, you can't cast another spell or target a specific enemy.
