Agreed that the skill thing is obnoxious. If it gets stuck, you have to move quickly before you can cast another spell. This also affects targeting your normal attack :(.

If you think Demigod X is overpowered, learn to play. If you think Demigod Y is underpowered, learn to play; under the specific conditions A, B, and C, he or she is very good. If practical experience suggests Z is a gameplay problem, theorycraft proves you wrong. If you have problems connecting, learn to forward your ports, and shut up because it's better than it was a week ago. I think that covers everything.
So there's the question? WHat's the strategic use of lots of minions?
They're really good for not purchasing. That way, you have a lot more gold and skill points to spend on more useful things.
Any updates on the Custom Games list? It hangs for 20-30 seconds whenever it autorefreshes, then it's time to refresh again, so it lags perpetually.
No, they can't allow it, not without sending the equivalent of an entire save game. Which means a big pause for everyone currently playing the game.
If you didn't out kill, spend, gold horde, flag cap. etc the leading demigod in each catagory, you won't get any extra points. Which is the way it should be. Win in one of the award catagories and you'll see extra points even if you lost.
I think this is very bad though. If you play a crucial support role (Sedna spamming heal, QoT spamming bramble shield), you could be the decisive factor in your team's victory, but yo
The gold you get should probably be scaled... a demigod going with 0 kills 10 deaths shouldn't really give as much as one with 10 kills 0 deaths (presuming they're the same level).
That's a great idea. Lower the base gold for a kill, but attach a bounty to each demigod. As you kill more enemies (creeps, towers, enemy demigods) or do good things (flag captures), your bounty goes up and you are worth more to kill (each item would
It's true. The AI will teleport to a flag you are capturing even if you just decimated it 5 times in a row.
Why not make that scroll cheaper that can cure the plague?
I disagree polis59. He brings up a good point. Why is the most damaging long ranged spell on a melee character?
The Pantheon mode let me purchase the Charm of Life twice, giving me negative favor points :(.
Well can I burn this game via Impulse? Im gonna hit the shower I hope someone lets me know by the time I get back you guys have been great help and very responsive =D.
Yes. Impulse lets you archive the game into an *.impulse file, which I assume is a proprietary format that Impulse can restore to the full game.
Battle.net was peer to peer.
Impulse: I believe you can burn the game to a DVD. Not sure on the details. Stardock and GPG earn more money per copy sold if you get it through Direct Download. Plus, you'd be punishing GameStop for its early street date.
This was a very fair review.
There are 7 maps. Crucible is dead to me [e digicons]
Stardock has to activate all of our codes, and to do that, they'd need to send someone in over the weekend.
If you're video bottlenecked then performance will be the same or slightly worse; if you're processor bottlenecked then performance could be 3-4 times better.
