I'm not sure how purchasing items would work at all.

As it is, I don't see 1v1 ever working in Demigod. It's simply too dull and 1-dimensional. As an alternative, I suggest implementing a special "Versus" mode for 1v1 matches. The game will grant you control over as many demigods as are recommended by the map (so for the Cataract map, you get to control 3 demigods of your choosing). Personally I think this would be crazy freaking awesome. It's completely out of line with the Demigod concept, and a lot of it would be pure twitch micro, b
Interesting. Can you add Energy to those statistics?
I don't play regulus at all. I don't feel he is OP, and agree that the other DG need work. Mines. Thats my only problem. Getting to throw them is really messed up. I think he can avoid damage enough as it is. If he wants to plant mines he should have too: be stationary kneeling down at location, instead of throwing them longer activation time interupted if hit by a demigod skill
These will eventually be stored on the server I'm sure.
Demigod maps are modeled in a separate program first (Maya, 3DS Max, etc) and then imported. The complexity of that work flow (mostly using the tools to produce anything of quality) makes an editor useless for most users.
There's already a demigod a lot like this. He was called the Vampie Lord. I think they changed the name.
I don't believe so.
They said the same thing about the PhysX cards. Demigod isn't conducive to that kind of control scheme.
You photoshopped that in and then scrawled completely illegible text instead of using the text tool? Why?!
When two or more enemy demigods have been removed from play, the announcer guy should announce POWER PLAY for stylistic effect. Plus it lets you know that your team has a significant momentary advantage and you can push forward a little.
Everyone who preordered should have gotten into the beta. Email if you haven't been able to download the game. Make sure you have "Show pre-release versions" checked in the Orb dropdown menu of Impulse.
Yes please.
Press ctrl+~ to open the console, then type "ren_Ui" and press enter. The UI will disappear.
Errr. I meant to say Sedna, rides a WHITE TIGER. Not sure how that came out. I love you too, Freud.
There is another female demigod (Sedna, rides a female demigod). She's a general as well. I don't think there are any female assassins.
Some mines only trigger on enemy demigods I believe.
Secondly, the way you make him attack enemies with his skills needs reworking, so that if it's an area attack (specifically the hammer attack) you click on the skill then you click where you want the demigod to use it. At the moment you click on the enemy you want to use it on and then click on the skill, this is cumbersome and will not work as well zoomed out, nor is it natural for this sort of game.
??? It works fine if you click the skill then where yo
Make sure you have applied a profile. You need to select the one you created and hit the Apply button. If you don't it might not work.
Post is fail. Give system specs.
I'm trying to understand this. 8 is a LOT of Demigods.
It's simple. We were told the game supports 5v5 matches, and that there would be an option to force unique picks. If there are 8 demigods, this cannot happen, and that option must be disabled in 5v5 games until at least 2 more demigods are patched. This brings us to your "Gamer's Bill of Rights".
2. Gamers shall have the right to demand that games be releas
You miss the part where this was only being discussed. No official plans have been announced. New content could very well be free.
Regulus is about technology, a martial artist would be more human - self power, than human - tech power. Also no assassin yet that basis their play style (that I know of) off of speed/ dodge with high damage.
A crossbow is technology?
If they released an expansion pack's worth of content, and let you pick and choose what to buy -- and buying all of it costs the same as an expansion -- how the hell is that like ripping off people?
Then you pay for all of the demigods and pay no more than if it were a regular expansion. It's not a huge scheme to make more money, it's meant to benefit the consumer who doesn't want to pay for stuff he or she doesn't use.
