This is why I hope GPG is still kicking around the idea of purchasable content updates. Everyone freaks out and says they'll pay only over their dead body, but it's the best way to ensure constant patches. If they offered a few demigods for $5-10, let everyone be in games with them but only let players who paid use them, content updates would work very well.

I think the idea is that it's impossible to master every demigod, so going random should offer some negligible advantage to match the advantage of being familiar with a certain playstyle.

A lightning demigod would certainly look impressive, and would definitely come off as original. Perhaps he could be a play on Thor, since GPG said modern religions should seem to derive glimpses from the "true" pantheon.

Arena Mode in Demigod Ideas Demigod Forums

I would very much like to see an arena mode. Instead of the mirrored style of the maps we've seen intended for 1v1 team play, arena mode would use more circular maps. They could be played in either team mode or as free-for-all. Generals would get a stream of minions to play with, while assassins would go it alone. There would then be a bunch of computer controlled minions running around. The objective is to whoop as much ass as possible. Think of it as a deathmatch mode for Demigod.

If replays are included, they might as well go all-in. I don't think chat should be included (for privacy reasons), but I'd love to see someone's camera and selection actions.
