What is the shipping and handling on other sites? There could be customs fees.

How does the UI look? Is it themed well?
No Nokthra, stop playing hyperbole. You would only pay for what you want to use. That is why microexpansions are better than full expansions. Would you want to pay $30 for an expansion with 10 Demigods and only use 3, or $9 for the exact 3 you want to play?
It wouldn't work like that with Demigod. You'd be able to play in games with all of the content, you just wouldn't be able to use it unless you paid for it.
Regulus looks mostly human.
It was talked about. What's so bad about it anyway? You get to pay for exactly what you want. That seems better than buying a bunch of content of which you'll only use half.
They're not even previews. They are just rehashing the previous reports. I doubt they are even playing the game.
There has to be more than 8, because the game supports 5v5 and there is an option to force unique demigods.
I am guessing not. When someone joins, the game would have to be paused and streamed to the person joining. Game saves were large in SupCom because it needs to save the entire Lua engine state.
I dont' like the new color scheme :(. Need custom skinning! Srshifke: They haven't sent out the keys yet. They will send them out after PAX.
I don't see these technical limitations... its one nibble of information! (granted that the whole moving thing might be a little difficult but the actual is it pressed and what not is only one nibble!)Stop using technical as an excuse why not to have it... not saying I'm supporting it but come up with better reasons.. jeez.
How do you even know WASD will suit the gameplay? You and innociv are making some pretty huge assumptions h
Regardless, Demigod needs WASD controls for the Demigods as an option.
I still find it incredible that you insist this while simultaneously knowing almost nothing about the game.
The Queen of Thorns has those summonable tree guys, so I think there will be more units than we see now.
You can't remove it. It's intrically tied to how RTS engines are synchronized. They can make it smaller, but there will always be a delay.
Why would Demigod's engine be designed the same exact way as an RTS engine? It's not an RTS!
Because it's using the Supreme Commander engine. You could make it work but there would be a delay between when you press a key and when your character moves. I think that would drive too many people insane.
WASD will not work unless they do a major overhaul of the engine. The reason is the way RTS engines are synchronized. There would be a noticable delay between when you hit WASD and when your character responds. That would drive people up the wall. It's better to just stick with mouse movement.
a cape splited to two and have feather-like things on it? I'm not buying that. how do you explain two of them?
It's one piece. The ice and light effect is washing out the center. The sides of the cape curl back so they don't get hit with as much light.
Looks like the cape to me.
How good someone is at 1vs1 demigod vs. demigod fights should depend on the Demigod itself, not whether it's Assassin or not.
Don't you mean it should depend on skill, not on the demigod? 1v1 would be incredibly stupid if it mattered which demigod you picked.
Do want.
How about we stop worrying about it and trust GPG to make an awesome game? They worked with the best SupCom players in a private beta to perfect the FA balance. GPG knows what they're doing, have some faith.
Starcraft used the same model as SupCom. The host is only necessary for mediating connections to all the other players. Once that is established, the host doesn't matter. If the host doesn't have proper port forwarding then you won't be able to connect to the other players.
You are thinking of a server model, where players send commands to the host, who then sends commands to all the other players. It doesn't work that way in most games. I know for a fact Supreme Commander is peer to peer (and logically Demigod will be as well). Everyone is connected to everyone, and everyone sends packets to everyone. There is no host designation when the game starts. First Person Shooters may handle it differently, but nearly every RTS follows the peer to peer model (with the ext
Once a game starts there is no "host". It's all peer to peer.
I like Kali.
