I am now in the beta group, but perhaps I will go back to v1.05 for this epic battle.
I suppose this means the primary role of heavy crusiers is to tank the damage, not dish it out, eh?
LFs are quicker than HCs and also have the AM abilities. I would admit, Vasari's AM ability is And yeah, to some extent, HCs are great meat shields, especially the Vasari with the reintegration. What is truely fantastic about the
I don't know the cost of the Advent carrier, but it is more. Also, the Advent carrier takes up 20 fleet supply, while the Vasari takes up 14. So, if you think about it, the Advent had 55*1.5 carriers to your 50 carriers. I should also note that Advent SC pop like flies, and the vasari do not. I don't know why you had 30 subs, you don't need that many. I also notice that you don't have any LFs. LFs counter Carriers by destroying the ship. Jam weapons a
I am completely up for a DT vs Dev match. I am also using this thread to call out all the people who host but kick DT members because we "stack" the teams. Well, here's what I have to say to you: If me joining stacks the team, even if we do 3v6, then maybe you should get better.
I was kind of writing to be humourous. In any event, I think the answer is: No, you cannot go from the beta to v1.05 by installing the v1.05 patch. I actually found it funny that you minidumped too, considering v1.05 seems to do that a lot no matter what (Yes, I am poking fun at you Stardock).
Dude, the beta NEVER has as many people as the offical version. Try using v1.05, there is almost always 100 people on.
First) v1.05 has been out for how long now? 5 months. Second) If you are talking about not using impulse, right, you must use impulse to install all versions beyond v1.05. Third) If you are talking about using the v1.05 to downgrade from the Beta, that obviously WON'T work. Here's to writing so people can help. Your post is unintelligable.
I make a cap ship factory, build the 3 mining things, then make a Kol, 5 cobalts, 3 scouts and a colonizer frigate. Then go to the nearest planet and kill everything, then colonize. Etc etc
Um...We are talking Advent, not TEC.
Ok, I am in the Beta group now. Got my first 2v2 in. My only wish is that I could chat with people in v1.05 to get them to switch over.
Bump. Crickets....Chirp...Chirp. Devs?
Yes, Kryo answered my question in this forum thread: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/326505
I just played a 2v2 in the beta the other day. I will admit, it is much harder to get a game going in the beta, but I am hoping to get my DT clan mates over to the beta as well.
I didn't know you could lose. You're the 1v3 champ.

[DT]Howthe? has joined the beta. Come on in, it's safe.
Yeah, I think I am going to try coming over to the beta. We have been implelementing house rules of late to make sure the game is balanced (i.e., no RA, limited use of repulse and subs, and no scuttling neutral extractors.
This has been know forever. I didn't think they ever attempted to fix it. Do you know what version they tried to fix it in? I actually don't use the bug because it can be dangerous to let uncolonized planets go out there: they are easy targets for enemies to take over.
Ok, offer him up then, I'm cool with that. Just leave the nice virgins out of this. Edit: Oh, and reminding me that there are two kinds of virgins, and only one type is acceptable to sacrifice, earns you karma.
My vote is for a herd of goats.
Well, it looked like we were still in v1.05 last night. It seems no one else thought about moving to the beta, so I guess I will leave beta testing to the SP guys. Also, it is very difficult to move from the beta back to v1.05 (you have to uninstall and reinstall the game), so whereever we go, is where we'll stay.
Stop posting already, you are giving me a headache.
While cool, I still hope my idea enters in as well. One can hope...
This couldn't possibly mean that if you host a game with a custom map, impulse will download the needed files? Dude, you have to stop being vague and just tell us...Annatar11 is about to have a siezure.
I think I am heading to beta 3. Care to join?
