Thanks, that's a common and top fix that comes up when you google the issue; sadly, does not apply here. Well, everything's fine now anyway. It just seems to have happened to be working again and it has been for a week now or more. Heh, well, but other than Nexus and ObjectDock, there don't seem to be any more normal / simple / straight / mac-like dock applications that are current. I googled for articles for dock suggestions / reviews in 2017 and even those were mentioning old stuff, focusing on Rocketdock as still the main recommendation, of course. It still works though; it's just that my stacks don't have icons, and for any missing ones on the dock I just have to add them manually into RocketDock;s little ic

Docks in question: ObjectDock free, RocketDock, CircleDock Docklet: stacksdocklet v1 Also happens with: RKLauncher, Aquadock, StandaloneStacks OS: Windows 7 Pro x64. tl;dr: The icons on most stacksdocklet (v1) stacks in 2 portable RocketDocks are blank. I've been using docks on and off for over 10 years (mainly RocketDock and ObjectDock free), and yeah, docklets don't seem to do very much, though lately I've only really seen what's listed on the RocketDock website. I'll second Rainmeter for more powerful options; skins can make rainmeter a tiny thing on your desktop or a full-screen application. Hallo thar. So I'm nearing the end of my full-customization of my computers appearance (and functions, due to thinks like desktopX). I just changed my hibernation screen text and pictures (instructions are here ) and it should be possible to change the initial image on boot and even the logo on POST screen though I doubt I'll get around to doing that

haha, ok, thanks. Honestly, that should somehow be a feature in object desktop though! If I have to, I will go edit in skinstudio. I started doing my own skin some years so MAYBE I still remember enough to be able to pick up on it again. Maybe I'll get back around to making my own skin sometime.

Woops, sorry, don't know how I missed that. Thanks, that will suffice. :) However, is there anything like I said? Am I crazy, thinking of another program, or was there not some list of components so you could choose what to skin? Maybe I'm thinking theme manager? Hi everyone. I found a skin I really like, but the start menu is crap! Not just visually but functionally. But the rest of this Theme #1 is good, and i'd keep it. I would to use the start menu of another theme. I don't care which all programs list is used, but I want everything that makes up the start menu from layout to its button design (which is independent from the rest of the theme) to be loaded over / replace the one of Theme #1.
