i believe the death star had an offensive role...did it not?
EviliroN
you guys are still talking about the global warming myth? the flying spaghetti monster will come and destroy you all.
i have also noticed the prob where the AI sends my ships to another grav well the "long way"
aww man re-installed. still have the same problem
with you i think we have 4 now
Mods broken for Entrenchment Beta, can we expect the same for the full release, or compatibility?
yes I believe so, is there any other info I can provide?
This just started happening:
Please ensure the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and the COM+ Event System service are enabled on your machine, and restart Impulse.
Then I go to services.msc and look and they are all on automatic. What's up?
so with the formula, is it acceptable now? maybe this is a game formula?
And honestly, a game full of griefers and such doesnt look very mature to me.
Wait a minute, you mean like spamming only LRM frigs and nothing more? Making a game last 30 min instead of 4-8 hrs like it was intended? Stripping a game of its intended mechanics and making just like any other RTS?
CST is GMT-6 EST GMT-5 PST GMT-8, fyi
And dont start with Eve Online, its just borring...all you do is select the target and click. In Star Wars Galaxy, you need to fly your ship and have to target manualy. It just plays like the old X-wing vs Tie Fighter games or Star Wars Alliance.
I dont like twitch combat. Flight sims and the like bore me. Manual targeting? We don't even have that on current airplanes. We fire and forget :) EVE for me
well, i took the plunge, as i joined a corp, they flushed my pockets with coin, and i subscribed. but feel free to keep the thread alive for others who might want ideas. thanks everyone
it could be diff abilites interacting with each other? was this in battle?
I am central, one guys is Pacific and the other Eastern, lol, what are you GMT+?
a lot less whining and griefing, and a lot more "real-life" backstabbing, thievery, and so on.
:)
I'll probably try it, but honestly it sounds a bit too PvP oriented and a bit anarchist for my taste.
This doesn't bother me at all. I'm starting to feel like, what's the point of playing a game if you have nothing to "really" lose. Plus in EVE you can always get insurance for you "uber-ship" so even if it dies, it's no big loss. Starquest, looks pretty graphically lacking, I at least want a pretty game.
If you have time to wait, id say try Age of Conan. Why wait? Well it was released bit "unfinished" so once siege and stuff are in you sould try it.

I think I have left "Fantasy" themed games for a while, they all feel the same.
Shadow, it's going into my mod :)
I have been playing EVE trial for a couple days now, and I have to say, I do like it. It's pretty, first off. There is tons to do, even though I have been doing nothing. I'm not a stickler for storied quests/mission (hence, I don't care SoaSE doesn't have a campaign, campaigns are gay). There seems to be a lot of promise; and people are very helpful thus far. I haven't even joined a Corp, yet, either. The price is very reasonable, $100 for a full year. Can't get that in
If you want a good device to destroy the planet look no further than your Avatar.
Whom?
The max level for trial accounts is level 20 >.>
OK i should have said the "free 30 days" after you buy the game. Lvl 60
and you will make it merge-ready :)
but we are also talking about cpus here. namely multi-threaded CPU support. with a game that can scale as large as this one can, it does kind of make sense to be ableto use 2 or 4 processors or 8 processors.
