Steam does have many awesome features, yes. That doesn't mean some people want to be locked into a single platform for their owned video games.

I think Sins may need dialogue tracks to be mono.
Well, if you want to use Steamworks, your game has to run through the Steam client. Therefore, while point of sale may not be exclusive to the Steam digital storefront, everyone who buys the game still has to end up installing Steam to install and play their game. Technically it isn't a Steam storefront exclusive, but Valve is definitely bundling Steam with every copy of every Steamworks game that gets sold, and that could certainly be considered an anti-competitive act, much
You're using an incorrect enabledModNameCount. It should be 5 since you're trying to load 5 mods. My guess is since the number says 4, the game only tries to load four mods, dropping off the bottom one which is the very necessary Core package.

Oh God, those colors are hideous. Any way to change them from "Eye-Melting Purple"?
Oh, ****. Hasbro is going to ruin MLP and then you'll all become something even worse than what you are now: you'll become hipster bronies who endlessly and bitterly complain about the changes to FiM and talk about how you were watching it before it sucked.
That addon makes it so Titans don't keep their levels after death and always revert back to level 1 when being re-built.
Achievements, Steam Cloud, and inviting people off your Steam friends list? Yeah, those are all really vital features for enhanced enjoyment of Rebellion. [e digicons][/e]
Also, the Australian consumers set those high prices too since they were the ones buying them at such a markup. As soon as the Australians stop buying overpriced shoes and furniture, the prices will start dropping. [e digicons];)[/e]
AllowAlliesToUsePhaseGates works, many thanks. Why did they change the name?
Presumably since the Vasari Rebels have a normal research that allows their allies to use their phase gates, not just a pact.
No way. Drugs are fun.
The TEC Loyalists get the Novalith Deregulation tech, which cuts the number of required planets in half, so not a bug.
I tried to download your Rebellion alpha from ModDB but the file was deleted. Do you have an alternate link?
You must have pirated Rebellion then since Steam auto-updates regular copies to the latest version automatically with no need to install updates. And you need to read version numbers better since that's pretty obviously version 1.01, not 1.1.
All weapons in Sins are 100% accurate, all the time. Changing the shield mesh shouldn't have an effect on weapon damage or accuracy.
Supposedly Steamworks has a lot of awesome features that games can use but I just haven't seen any new online features aside from inviting people through Steam friends list (we could already invite through ICO friends list IIRC) and everyone now being able to see our Achievements (which can be laughably easy to get if you mod the game). I don't see how those are so vital to our enjoyment as to force Steamworks upon us and we don't even get the awesome stuff like Steam Work
That's still horribly useful, especially for a novice modder.
Tech trees are comprised of individual .entity files, so you can create an entirely new tech tree just by editing copies of existing research subject files and then adding them to the Player .entity file of your desired race. If you have the files in TXT format instead of BIN you can use a text editor to edit them (Notepad++ is your best choice for this). If not you'll need to run the proper ConvertData executable to convert them to a readable format. I'
That has been reported multiple times, and multiple times by you if I recall correctly, and the response has always been the same: we know, we're working on it, and we don't have an ETC for the patch.
Lavo_2, could you please fix that quote? I never said that.
Yes, you can spawn Titans via abilities at an unlimited number. There are however some complicated buff and ability chains used by Lavo_2 and GoaFan77 to make it so a limited number of a certain ship can be built at once.
You can only have one Titan unit on the field at any one time. You could give the Empire multiple Titans in their build list and they would be able to build one single Titan at any one moment. GoaFa77 has also come up with a complex ability and buff chain to create hero units, but it is extremely complex since Sins doesn't normally have anything like that.
The fact that the forum bronies haven't found this thread yet confuses me. And of course, even mentioning the term "bronies" summons them so here they come...
