I normally like to give aspiring modders encouragement, but this is a horrible idea, and you are a horrible person for having it.

Sadly, that isn't possible.
I'm not a particle guy, but I think you need to edit a certain particle within the .particle file itself to remove the team color texture file from it and replace that texture file with the appropriate color.
No more than ten exhaust points, sorry, and yes the colorization can be deleted. I think you do that by editing the exhaust particle to remove the team color texture from it, but don't quote me on that.
Did you have to remind me of that unpleasant fact? I can't believe anyone at SyFy thought this was worth spending money on. I've already read through a massive thread on another forum about why it is so bad and I don't want to repeat that here, so let me just finally say it is a bad show, you shouldn't watch it, and you're not missing anything good by not watching it.
That's a bad idea as that allows planets to hard counter their hard counter.
I've finished it. I can't believe they were actually planning on showing that on TV at one point.
Another forum I'm on is already thinking of throwing a squadron together. Choices, choices.
Well, I was planning on doing it mainly for the races I play like the Colonials, Rogues, and Hypercorps, but what's the point if they're only in the SVN and I'd just have to constantly update my files to match your changes?
Yeah, Boshimi. I'm just hoping the Vanduul curse me as the Heart of the Tiger when all is said and done. [e digicons];)[/e]
Well, I also suck horribly at flight sims so I'll be playing with minimal PvP and trading mostly in the core systems until I get a ship that won't explode the minute its sneezed upon. After that happens I'll start taking down NPC pirates for bounties and loot and continue from there. Hopefully I'll end up in a superfighter with a massive Vanduul bounty on my head after getting paid lots of credits by the Empire and assorted human worlds to vaporize all their not-Dr
Capital ships acting as labs and credit generators can spiral out of hand very quickly since all a player needs to do to make money and climb the technology tree is expand his fleet, and fleet expansion should only be making you money if you use your fleet to go conquering.
Zombies, would it be okay for me to release an addon to SotF .12 that uses stacking to add some Distant Stars-style enhancements to some of the races? EDIT: .12 doesn't have the extra SVN races in it, so never mind.
I shall be flying in Star Citizen since I'm not too fond of giving money to people this early in development, even Chris Roberts.
Yes, up to five weapons for all types. As to build speed, I gave structure and ship builds rates a 4.0 modifier for the Faster game speed. Structures really need a lesser adjustment than that since they generally build faster anyways but ship build rates end up close to vanilla relative to ship cost. I don't think structures can be repaired from orbital dockyards, so maybe give construction frigates an ability that repairs structures in their fifth slot? I don&
It has been a while since I played SotYR and that was on your previous release, and I have to say I like your mod, especially since all the races play very uniquely. I'm quite fond of the EA and their beam spam, especially since unlike the Minbari or Centauri they're much easier to start off with thanks to the Explorer being extremely tough and able to colonize and the relatively quick access to the cheap and agile Hyperions to act as escorts and attack dogs for it.
I understood that. Still it is a bug that in a locked team game the relationship value is affect-able at all. It should not be decreased if locked teams are set. Or the Agreements/Pacts should automatically re-establish once the threshold is reach again. Either way, I cannot fix it by modding (other than to have no penalties, which I wont do)
Yeah, I know. I just figured you could tell Ironclad or Stardock about it t
There weren't any racial relations penalties because I was in a locked teams game. The only relationship penalties I got were from a few of those Centauri researches that have a decrease for foreign relations, and the main issue wasn't that I couldn't use envoys to get the relationship back up, because I could, it was because Sins likes to lock up the treaty buttons in locked team games so I couldn't get back the Planet Vision treaty after the relationship penalties on t
I've noticed that AI races have issues colonizing. Their colony ships just sit at their homeworld and do nothing. Did you set their frigateRoleType and statCountType to Colony? EDIT: Centauri Corvan Scouts have auto-join fleet enabled by default. This means whenever they run into a fleet while exploring they automatically join it and stop exploring unless the player disables it on every single scout he makes, which is annoying and tedious. EDIT 2: Found a
Really? I find the fleet/Admiral system annoying and slow, not to mention needing a mission to do everything.
The Advent scout already has a kamikaze ability. It has had it since vanilla and nobody uses it since turning ships into cruise missiles gets expensive.
We're aware of the bug and it will be fixed. The person responsible for the TCA beta is also single-handedly re-doing the UNSC tech tree for Sins of the Prophets, so his time is limited.
Xenophobes entering into a diplomatic pact to get Titans doesn't seem like that's something they would ever do. Titans would also be unable to be built in 1v1 games and people would just rush diplomacy so they can get that out of the way so they can rush to Titan.
Since if I recall correctly you guys already have all the frigate roles filled and have some overlap for at least the EA, how about converting more than one frigate to the corvette class? Also, all that makes corvettes operate differently from frigates is that they always use fighter movement and are in a different target filter for abilities. You guys could easily make it so the lighter combat frigates use fighter attack methods since the usesFighterAttack line got added all the
When converting to .dds and editing .dds files you lose image quality since .dds files are compressed. .tga files aren't compressed and therefore lose no image quality when edited.
