KeepSafe is great for versioning to get back old versions of files. I also put really important things in Dropbox so they're backed up to all my machines.
I installed the demo 1.24 on the clients
You'll need to uninstall this before installing the full version.
Yeah, the v2 upgrade is available now (in Beta). Can you take a screenshot of what you're seeing? Also, if you right click and select Dock Entry Properties and then Reset Image does it fix the issue?
When you try to apply a downloaded theme what happens? Does it give an error or does it just simply not apply?
my chrome hasn't been getting along with #E shell
What's #E Shell?
Looks like there may be an issue with the upload, as I'm not even able to download the actual wallpaper.
I don't think Fences gets loaded in safe mode, and this could cause the bulk of these issues, as other settings would be set assuming Fences is running.
Jeff is working on a new mechanism in Fences that should help with these issues. We have finally been able to reproduce the scenario internally.

Appears to be broken. Web Dev has been notified.

What version of Reader is this with and on what OS? Also, are you using ObjectDock 2?
With the Celeron processor and onboard graphics, it may take a while to apply a theme, especially anything with transparencies.
Impulse will only use and show the first registered serial on an account. If you have multiples, you will need to have your serials sent from stardock.com/support or look in your "My Account" section here. Some games may not list serials due to anti-fraud measures. If this is the case, please drop a line to and we'll get you straightened out.
What I did notice is it takes a long time to apply a skin, and sometimes I have to <> twice for all of them to "take". Also, when changing skins everything else slows to a crawl. I suppose the CPU is being hogged.
What sort of hardware is this running on?
Isn't this the version that uses magic and fairy dust to do things to images? Seriously, some of this stuff is downright amazing.
Stardock Central is now long retired. You'll want to get Impulse: http://www.impulsedriven.com/about
Is there a replacement in the works for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit? Figures I would 'discover' this app when it becomes a dead issue.
If there is I wouldn't hold my breath for it. There are no definite plans to revive this app at this time, but it may be reincarnated in the future.
The production site (https://www.wincustomize.com) has been updated to the new 2010 version as of a few days ago. wincustomizetest.com should not be used, although it may remain active for some time.
The Detect Application feature came about to be used in instances where there was an OS reinstall performed but the files for a game installed through Impulse were left on a separate partition or drive. In this case you would not need to redownload the entire game, just point Impulse at the install path and it would do its best to make up the lost data. This may not work in all instances, and in the case of Fallout 3 won't work at all. Also, if you detect an application with
If you have DeskScapes, you should have DreamMaker with it and be able to convert these to .dream files with it (probably need to convert them to .wmv or MPEG-2 first). For copyrighted non-original works like this, you won't see them on WinCustomize since it's unlikely the submitter would have the rights to these movies. However, using them for your own personal use on your own system should be fine.
Hi there while I am certainly not putting any blame on SD I thought just FYI I'd post what happened so if another customer has a similar exp you perhaps can steer them in the right direction.
Always appreciated, just trying to steer you in the best direction.
None the less this is what I had to do... uninstall DA and the exp fully. Reinstall DA fresh from the DVD. Install the 1.03 patch. Install the exp pack. Now everything works fine.
