Try changing the extension on the cursor file from .cursorxp to .cursorfx and see if it works.

BIG THING TO REMEMBER: If for whatever reason you have to reinstall your OS, if you do not first backup your registry settings for Impulse ( HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Stardock on 64 bit ) Impulse will NOT detect the games as installed after the reformat. Setting the download/install folders back to this location will not make it detect the games are installed.
Not something WindowBlinds would have done. I have to say, the only time I've seen this before is when I've accidentally done this to myself when moving files around. [e digicons]X|[/e]

Most likely this is a part of one of the included WB skins. Make sure you have full permissions for the following path: C:\Documents and Setting\All Users\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds as this is where it's trying to put the file.
Nice and snappy for me on FF3. Cleared cache and cookies? Everyone could use a little browser spring cleaning.
WebGizmos: What kind of system stats are we looking at here? Have you tried going back to 6.4 since reverting? If so, did the issue reappear? Has it been working solidly on 6.3 for you? I'd like to try and repro on a similarly spec'd machine.
The last 2 updates to WindowBlinds (6.3 and 6.4) do not support Windows XP x64. Stardock is no longer testing nor developing for this platform. If you bought WindowBlinds previous to the 6.3 release and would like the archive for the earlier version (6.2) please e-mail EDIT: New purchases will not have access to this archive. The main site and purchase system requirements have been updated. The guide should see updates soon.
starkers & Ausvet: There was some work done on BootSkin Vista today to address the English language with non-US locale applying issues. I imagine the next update will include them and should solve the problems.
What I've been seeing is when you delete the themes through MyColors, the actual WindowBlinds themes files are still left in the WindowBlinds directory. When I had a problem with a different MyColors theme, I had to uninstall the theme through MyColors and then delete the actual WindowBlinds files through either WindowBlinds config or Windows Explorer and that took care of it. Did you try that? (Maybe that's what Shirley meant by "c
Please go to Start> Run.. in XP or Start>Start Search in Vista, type "regedit" and hit enter. Was this on XP or Vista? Are you the only account on the machine?
Yup. This was a bug that showed up in IE8 RC1. The latest version of WindowBlinds should fix it. This was actually a bug introduced in IE, as the beta 2 release didn't have the same issue.

The promotion where you could buy Object Desktop Ultimate and ObjectDock Plus is over, but you can still get a discount through this link: https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/od-discount.asp?Referer=ODlp
What language and system locale do you have the machine set to?
That's the link you want. There should be one on every MyColors theme page.
From the way it looks in the screenshot I would guess the image assets for that part of the skin are missing/corrupted somehow. I don't recall off the top of my head if the AlienGUIse theme can be downloaded as a standalone, but I would suggest trying removing the theme completely and reinstalling.
Jamie9526: E-mail . We'll get you fixed up.
starkers: out of curiosity, do you have a utility called TuneUp Utilities 2009 installed? This app appears to have it's own means of changing the bootscreen, and I see this most often when this app is installed. If not, can you run this file: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/enumerate_startup.bat and send me the log it creates on the desktop at support@s
The performance settings for DeskScapes on Windows XP are automatically set upon install and are not adjustable by the end user. The issues with file downloads and drag and drop from the desktop are known issues that have been reported but have not yet been fixed. Dreams will freeze when launching the start menu. This was done intentionally due to artifacts left around the start menu, as well as for performance concerns.
nvs5037: came across your support ticket. Glad to hear you got it working!
The experience score may be the root issue here. I find more things each day that aren't turned on or don't work right if this isn't updated.
unfortunately no, no such warning was built into the application at the time (it may be present in the latest version)
Looks like the version number you have is from Impulse. Try right clicking on WindowBlinds in Impulse and selecting "Verify Installation", which may help. If not, are you running any sort of security apps that would interfere with WindowBlinds skinning properly?
