First thing I tried when I installed the Win 7 beta was WindowBlinds (this was before 6.4, which checks for it). Let's just say it wasn't pretty. A Windows 7 version is in the works, and will be released as soon as possible.

This is a known issue with WindowBlinds 5.X and the latest Live Messenger. The only fix is to upgrade to the latest version of WindowBlinds (any 6.X version) or remove WindowBlinds 5.x. As this is not presentin the latest version, it will most likely not be patched in 5.x

The icons you have on one Desktop will show on all of them, and deleting from one will remove from all. Virtual Desktops is about window management really. You can launch an application on one and switch to another an launch other applications. Here's the feature list from the site: FAST switching between up to 25 virtual desktops using the mouse or hotkeys. Filters the taskbar to only display the applications open on that virtual

If so, try uninstalling CursorFX, rebooting, and reinstalling from a newly downloaded installer. If it happens for one specific curs

For feedback for the fences beta, you can e-mail fencesbeta at stardok.com. Not sure why these 2 apps won't work together. I assume it has something to do with them working in the same desktop space. IconX isn't actively developed anymore, so most likely this will have to be a future Fences update (if it's possible to fix)

Cavan1 is absolutely right here. Happens with any of our apps that use alpha blending, be it in a skin, gadget, cursor or whatever. Alot of the ObjectDock configuration gets left behind so if you do have to do an uninstall/reinstall you don't lose your dock settings. Clearing this out will leave you withthe default settings. Also, ObjectDock not being really supported on 64 bit platforms could cause issues as well.

Ultimately, if we could, we would just give the answer, but we really don't have a difinitive one. Another thing that will commonly present this issue is not having the WindowBlinds service installed correctly, which running the below file (right click and run as admin on Vista) will often resolve: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/reinstall_wb_service.bat
