I think this is on the lst of things to add eventually, but isn't possible at the moment. In the mean time, the best way to get your purchased .dreams is logging in to this page: https://www.wincustomize.com/myaccount.aspx?reg and following the links for the downloads.

Bootskin Pro is definitely a huge improvement over the original. For those asking, this will be a Vista only app (similar to LogonStudio Vista vs the original, as XP and Vista handle their Boot/Logon screens differently). There should be no hardware specific issues with this app, but if you are having any please post details here or e-mail [email protected]

For anyone still having issues after the update: Can you post the following info? 1.) Vista version (Home Premium, Business, etc.). 32 or 64 bit. 2.) Language version you have (non-english versions of Vista) 3.) Whether UAC is on or off.

More or less Theme Manager is the "Plus" version that allows for applying .suite files, making your own suites, and custom tuning what gets applied. MyColors pretty much just applies .mycolors themes. They become redundand if your an Object Desktop Subscriber (as the new Theme Manager isn't available as a standalone yet), but alot of people who buy MyColors themes are looking for a 1-click solution, which is what the MyColors app is for (there's no coincidence that the interface b

jason4587 - Make sure you check for updates to Impulse. This should also pull down the latest product meta data. What version of DeskScapes does it say is available? If it's 2.50.X then you're on the right track. If you see it's 2.00.X you need an update. skibadee - what's not working? can you de

Looking through our esupport system I don't see any tickets from you. Did you ever get even an automated response? Multiplicity currently supports C-A-B for the C-A-D signal on Vista, so I am unsure what you are asking for. If you are having trouble getting it working, you can PM me (since it appears there is some problem with any messages getting through to eSupport) and I will help you out.

@anyone having issues in this thread: Did you buy with an Object Desktop discount? There seems to be a problem with the serials if you did. We're looking into it and it should be fixed shortly.

For anyone having touble with this skin not showing the animation on Windows XP: There is a bug with WindowBlinds where if you have it and MyColors installed the animation will not appear. This has been fixed internally and an update should be put out for WindowBlinds early next week through Impulse.

Music-Mayhem, Go into regedit and check the following entry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Stardock\ObjectDesktop\WindowBlinds\Path Make sure that if you have WB installed it points to the following directory: 32bit: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds (or the path to where you have WB installed) 64bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds (or the path to where you have WB installed) If you just have MyColo

Try following this link in Internet Explorer (Firefox and other browsers do no handle the file type correctly): 32 bit: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/install_weather.bat 64 bit: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/install_weather_64.bat save the file and run it from your machine (right click and run as administrator for Vista) and follow it's instructions. This should resolve the issue.

So, it has been my latest project to build a NAS box for my home network. I have had an old Pentium III box set aside for a while now, and decided it was time to get things up and running. I had initially wanted to go with FreeNAS, as it seems to be everyone's de facto standard for this kind of thing, but it just doesn't seem to like my machine. All it will do is boot to a "mountroot>" prompt and vainly ask me to tell it which device it should boot fr

Usually extreme slowness with ObjectDock is linked to a docklet misbehavin'. If you back up your settings and restore factory defaults, does the same thing happen?

For those who haven't used it yet, Ubiquity is a firefox extension that takes advantage of several web services to improve productivity in a huge way. You can also see this error if Desktop composition is disabled. To enable it the easy way, make sure that you have the Windows Vista theme enabled. To do so: -Right click on your desktop, choose personalize. -Click on Themes -From the drop down menu, choose 'Windows Vista", then click apply and ok. (If you have WB themes applied, you can reapply them later) If that still does not allow you to display .dreams, please try the following: -Cl

Yup, so here it is, my inaugural blog post. I'm not one to usually write a lot of things online, aside from the random comment on a forum post or quick tweet here and there, but I have decided that it's time to get with it and start putting things down somewhere. For those that don't know, I work for Stardock as a technical adviser (official title, it's on my business cards). Translation: I work support, which means that I am one of the guys down in the trenches helping you
