This thread is Unadulterated Truth.

Yeah, most of them suck. And the ones that don't, suck for a console player. Arma2 is a great example from good old Prague.
[e digicons] [e digicons]>_>[/e] Yeah... I wish the file output code was avalible, that would be very nice (just to check some things, my exports seem to work fine... seem.)

A thing I've think people do lately is rather than setup max or something with in game assets to render they have a special mode of their game which renders to file (a movie) at stupid resolutions with full detail on all objects. Maybe something like that? <br

Its kind of funny actualy to go to a Stardock forum and see a long line of "STEAMWORKS!!!" threads, heh.
So I can't find anywhere in that (DumpMeshVertex specifically) where you set the "Color" value of the vertex that appears in the .mesh file. Im guessing its just set to 0 in the vertex class? Also the cached vert list seems to be processed elsewhere? Im guessing in or after 'SaveMeshData' since you need the normals.
...Interesting...
Can't wait for the sex mods....
Seems like a good intense game. I just hope the ending will be depressing. :) I think we will see many more Steamworks games before the end of the year.
They do stuff themsevles (and you setup special tactics for targeting and ability use), and with the Advanced Tactics mod you can make your tactics better and have your own player char automated. Not to mention have rouges automatically get into backstab position. That really enhances the game for me.
I think a show of hands is in order here. "Who would PAY real money for a player made Map, created on a Free in game Map Creator Tool?"
Depends enterily about how quality the map is. I mean, what if an author wrote a book with a set of free pens? Is his work suddenly worthless? Personally though, I don't really need to buy maps since im not korean.
BG1 had 5 discs (6 with expack) and you had to put the disc in when you got to that stage of the game. Ugh. At least it wasn't a floppy...
Quoting Xea, reply 122How do you make children after married? You preorder them from Paris (France, not Texas). Must pay the stork shipping cost once they are ready though (which can be expensive if you play in a huge map).
Ermm you need a little bit of education, let me help. The children do not come from storks flying babies tied to thier beaks. Children come from hell, a spellbound albatros

I loved the way Bioware talked this up as something new, when it'd been in BG, Icewind Dale, Planescape Torment etc.
Which the vast majority of th eplayers of DA:O probably never even heard of never mind played...

Oh wait... thats the point isn't it. Duh. I don't think it's so much that GOO is written to interfere with mods as Oblivion not being written with the future potential of GOO in mind and having to worry to make sure it works (especially since GOO p
Also, in addition to what Tridus said, DoWII does not have a 50+ hour campaign. It also has an expansion pack that contiunes the story (of the Blood Ravens the centeral theme of all Dawn of War). Nor does it have 87 missions, or over (and most of its missions were very 'arena' like with little in the way of story and many many of them were the same map with no persistence just rotated a little bit). No dice.
Lord of the rings should have been One Book!

I like Asus.
Theres no LAN anymore in AAA titles.
Probably minatursation. Edit: Or miniaturization. Minatursation is mkaing something into a minotaur.
This whole history thing... All I want to know is did Nepolean use hax? He was french right? I mean Genghis was a little rusher, the Brittish turtled and boomed, Romans teched up and so on. Surely the easiest way to work out who is best is to look at the world rankings (1v1) leaderboard.
I totaly hope its some really dirty sex. Slimy even.
