Wow this is clearly the MOST important issue in the game. Personally I like the mixed idea best. Its annoying to have to build roads from city to city which is a nessesary part of the game. But I still want to give road benifits to other places. I dont like workers, unless they are automated but manually assigning tens or hundreds of units indavidual orders is annoying. Having the game automate the obvious connections like between citys or

Im not a big compeative player (read: not at all), Im co-op focused (2 of us). Thus GalCiv2 was not what I 'wanted' but I really loved it. If you are a speed player most AIs in most games will not be good enough for you. I make an effort not to do the 'best' thing but what I find 'fun' which usually meansindirectly increaseing the difficulty of the game by actually playing it! If GalvCiv3 can deliver multiplayer (coop like Civ4) and real time tactical battles (like Nexus or combat par

... I think im scarred for life.
They arealdy do way more than play games. And sony and MS are clearly trying to diversify into whatever they can that dosn't compete with the games market.
It uses a 3d noise map to determin the xy coordinates and over time it shifts the texture by going through the values for each vert. It looks like it uses the enviroment map (skybox cube) to texture it. I don't know that much about these shaders or how much you can do in them but there dosn't seem to be an obvious way to do what you want with a texture. I certianly don't know of a algorithm that will produce a hex grid. Technically it should be possible since yo
The Civ series certainly has not be perfect, and I agree with the others, Civ V has to offer a lot more than hexagons to get me to switch.
This is already on my preorder list. Even if it isn't quite as good as Civ4 it will probably still be fun, especially the way I play it. I would probably buy Civ4 with better graphics and hexagon

For one thing, you're never going to run into that scenario. Who cares if a mouse+keyboard is more "precise." You should do what gives you the most fun. There is no "definitive" control method, because it doesn't matter. if you dont understand the nature of the conversation i s
Would be nice if we could try have good units preserved in an auto resolve. So many times in Total War im fighting with a full stack vs a 3 unit malitia stack and ALL of my units take damage. ALL of them. Including the important cannons which are harder to replace. Why are my support units loosing men in that battle? (I know why its because it just does a % based loss for the whole stack pretty much). If it dosn't do that - thats a massive step forward.

I approve of this. Now then, the loot tab... Is there any purples?
Maybe Python will be the next language I learn... Are there any limitations that you planned ahead of time that you can't/wont support?
Sins of a Solar City. An sci-fi RPG set in an Advent city where the character helps to uncover a human conspiracy to enslave the sub-race through diplomacy. On the way many interesting characters and places are talked to and visted including Commander Adammaie the local Advent millitary command who will join your team and is a romance option (which will be lesbian only since your advent and males are worthless). Gameplay will involve moving around the super fast tram network to old an
Yeah PCs do FPS and third person action better than consoles. Sorry. Want to know what consoles do better than PCs on default controls? Driving games. You have analoge control sticks for it on the base controller, PCs simply don't have anything compareable without getting something custom, like the same controller you have on the console... ups lol Its better after that though. :P Obviously one thing PCs don't want to do very well is social
I raided in EQ2 which was kinda fun but it got very boring very fast when your not at the top be you still have to repeat 5 boring runs every week. Not to mention surrounded by some idiots. Instead I got into playing duo. Its a nice challange and way more fun. We duo the solo content (usually by pulling as many mobs as possible and AOE em down) the group quests and most of the normal difficulty dungeons. We found that in some places you simple REQUIRE 3 players. Without the basic arch

There's plenty of room for them all. Lately it's some console fans wanting the death of PC gaming. I can't even imagine why someone would want the death of a competitor. I think the consoles offer something different that is appealing anyway even if there are multiplatform titles.
Im a very PC only p
They will say that because no pirates can hack thier game anymore the sales have gone down because the pirates arn't buying it anymore. We will all go "HUH?!?" at their backwards logic.
