I think you had too many X's for anyone to understand :P So, like, some spells could be modified by a fire shard to do MOAR DAMUGE!? Or sumet?
Also almost all those games are also on PC.
No Bayonetta and Gears 2 are not (and probably never will be :( ) Halo can go suck itself though - what a sellout brand. And more about half are Console Only. But of the PC ones the PC version is vastly superior.
I would be amazed if elemental comes close to achieving the sales level of a civilization game, or having the same awareness or recognition levels at the moment as the civilization series. It might be a similar type of game, it might gain a better critical reception(+be a better game), but only the most ardent fan would expect it to sell as much as a civilization game/be as popular as one. Not to say it hasn't got a chance, but the odds are
Most spells won't require any shards. Others will use shards as a "wild card". Think, Magic the Gathering.
It DID beat those games on the list that was posted, hence my rebuttal.
Everyone has thier own opinion right? It dosn't seem you think it did. I wouldn't compare them, an arbitarily ordered list - it dosn't mean anything but "most people thought these games were good". I know its quality because I've played it. Theres quite a few games on metacritic with scores of say 70 which I think easily
I mean, do you really think galactic civilizations was better than: Deus Ex, Fallout 1 and 2, Planescape: Torment, Diablo II, etc, etc. Your "reality" is obviously seriously flawed in this case.
Wow you just picked 5 of the best games in all of human history. Because a game can't be good unless it beats the aboslute best that isn't even in its catagory! "Yeah you silly modern day artists! Unless you can
Yeah its funny how perceptions can alter reality like that. Actually this a is a great place to continue my rant about hype and good games. I can remember the hype about certain games better than I can remember the game itself, this plays into the feeling that the game was "massive" and succsesful and therefor REALLY GOOD . But thats false. There are plenty of unsuccsesful good games, they don't have the graphics or the marketing or mayb
Which is the point of this thread? I feel that there is something more to that pic but I seem to fail understand it.
I guess brad was just playing with a wireframe mode and thought he'd post a screenshot because its farily interesting to see. You get to see how detailed thier meshes are, how the world is built - how terrain features work things like that. At the same time Gamespot can't use it to show off the "tight" or "dated"
Yeah but going defnesive only works if your a) very good or b ) facing stupid AI. Wild hammer smashing is always going to win in multiplayer as people look for the easiest best way to win. The tards.

They started 100% positive, so it's going to be hard to shift from that. Still I am hoping they do more with this than just pimp the entire catalog one at a time on video. I mean this is the kind of thing Nintendo does with it's videos and games on the Wii channel which is about as "unbiased and outspoken" as marketing team hyping a
I love the empty wasteland... I must be a depressive or something. :(
Once you get to 1940ish does the interface warp into a horrible hard to use, fiddly mess? (This is a comment about old super complex hex grid turn based WWII wargames which I did not eth enjoy eth !)
You know why I like this? Because its former press editor types shamelessly advertising products, like they did before - but now they don't have to hide behind a veil of objectivity. :) It is a great idea. Show the actualy gameplay (not some cinematic publisher made trailer!) with some realtively informed people giving a basic overview. And have that RIGHT NEXT to the shop. I wonder how its recived by the majority of customers?
vectors are all those triangles you see everywhere. basicaly thats what everything is made out of. if you were to mak a flat 2d square, it would realy be 2 triangles that formed that shap.
Those are polygons, vectors in 3D at least are directions with a derived length.

That error is cause by a refrence to a local version of the variable which is undefiened. I.e. it doesn't know that that function is a global avalible function when it processes the file for the first time. It should work if you re run the script after that in tthe same session of max but it should always happen the first time. You might be able to fix it by putting "::" infront of the function name but thats a guess. sMesh = ::SplitMesh() <p
I sure hope that, after Ubi seems to have tried thier hardest to fk me over - they get fked over in return.
