Why is it garbage? You made a thread but didn't actualy post any evidence or reasons why you feel that way. Me, I had fun with it.
What would happen is you switched on anti-aliasing in a minecraft world?
Why is it so complicated in XSI? In max with my script all you need to do is make a point helper with the exact name you want in the file. With the visual arrows I added its SO much easier than anything similar I've ever tried (back in the day of freespace we would use truespace with lights to make turrets, ugh that was annoying).
Thats why the first thing I do in X is get a TL carrier with a hyperdrive thingy.
Its not like they rick rolled everyone (never gonna give you up). A lot of people had serious worry about the whole thing. They knew what would happen, they were planning for that to blow up in the news to gain huge attention combo multiplier like a console game.
Im saying a triple A company wouldn't make Reccetear in the first place.
Yeah... and my point is that with such a good indie game a triple AAA game would soon follow its succsess.
Some people don't like being decived or lied to. Trust is important to them.
I would say that gold isn't an 'option' I would say its a mandatory game mechanic, its used to enforce much of the game. For example without building mantinence costs, you would build every building. Unit mantinence costs stop you from using up every resoruce and supply you have on militarty and keep workers/great people/settlers from standing around. With gold happiness becomes easy to deal with (rather than wrangling/fighting to get luxuary resoruces). <p
Its a good stunt in the sense of sending commandos loaded with blanks to storm a national monument and take hostages and have the police come for several days before announcing that it was actualy a bit of fun . hahahahah... no.
Beucase a space game wouldn't get uber metacritic scores atm. Need to wait until an indie does a Freespace style game really well then the metacritic landscape will be far more favourable.
Not really. If you plot a graph of viral interest, world of warcraft and hot females this fact will become very clear.
8 roads inside, 20ish outside is what I ment so nearly 30 roads in total costing me 12 gold per turn. Oh and my current thoery is that roads outside borders cost about 20% that would explain the above. There are fractions involved with gold but it rounds the number most of the time (for display).
1 gold per tile huh? With no discounts for me, 12 gold with 8 tiles 5 citys and 20ish roads outside my borders. If I build a road (outside borders) it goes to 13 if I build another one, its still 13. I r confuseld.
It is so infuriating to play this game when you have no idea about unit mantinence costs (so you can't plan how many workers you can afford etc). Roads seem to cost 1 gold at the start then less? later on? They round numbers so there might be fraction costs or something? I.e. difficult to tell if your economy can support a freaking road. You: "So how much infrastructure can I build for 500 gold my good man?" Minister for Transport: "Well, some. Between 1 and a m
Yeah DA is better suited as an action game for consoles, as long as they keep it seperate for PC.
Roads cost even outside of your territory, which took a while to work out since the info didn't match up properly but furtuher testing proves it does. Or does it? I totaly don't know anymore the info presented in game is... lacking.
It will suck. Well thats what my World of Warcraft Gaming Magic 8-Ball says... Also twitch != skill as brother Cat-on-monitor says.
TBH I don't know why anyone would want to play a game like civ with strangers.
Heres some good posts outlining some of my issues. http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88675 and http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89150
I ment the sheer lack of features mostly (either bugged or missing), even betas have more stuff working (and it was an exaggeration, its actualy just beta level). Rebel: And how do you load that save game? (its lols)
I love most of the new systems, combat is awesome, global and limted resoruces are much better, global happyines etc is all good. Don't care about religion etc going away. I like the new interface design but the problem is the serious lack of information (which is the curse of console) and the 'bugs' i.e. badly or non-implemeted features. I play co-op so no ping, no animaitons (WTF?), annoying turn lockout, no feedback on queing actions, no freaking idication of queued unit orders, no way of
Civ 5's multiplayer is worse than beta software, this makes me sad. :(
Are you SURE this thread is about Darksiders and not Mafia 2? I have Mafia 2 but not Darksiders... Yet.
